Marina released her sixth studio album, Princess of Power, on June 6, 2025. The singer co-wrote the album with CJ Baran. The album was released independently, and its distribution is being handled by BMG Rights Management. The singer talked about the album in an exclusive interview with Harper's Bazaar on June 10, 2025:

"This is my first album where I actually feel like I’m owning and embodying my sexual energy. It really goes beyond my family, to why men in general have such an issue with female sexuality. Why is it so scary to them? Because it’s such an important part of us, and if you deny it and repress it, it throws everything out of balance. I think there’s some generational healing for women to do around that."

Earlier in the interview, the singer stated:

"It’s difficult as an artist, because obviously it isn’t Electra Heart, but I do understand the link. [Princess of Power] is like a big sister who’s matured, who’s healed; she’s open-hearted and healthier. This record was so much about reigniting my sense of playfulness, because I don’t think I felt playful and silly for a while."

Princess of Power has gone on to become a highly successful album, charting at the 6th spot on the Scottish album chart and at the 7th spot on the UK album chart, among other chart successes.
