Sinners has undoubtedly emerged as one of the biggest films of the year with its compelling storyline and riveting performances, and Stephen King-inspired themes that are bound to stay with you for a long time. It has continued to dominate theaters, even as its IMAX run has come to an end, but for those who missed it, Warner Bros has some pretty good news.
The film is all set to return to IMAX theaters, and fans can watch the film all across North America in a few theaters. IMAX has long been a mark of quality. It's not just about a bigger screen; it's about quality sound systems, crisp images, and the immersive experience that literally pulls you into the story that no regular theater can do.
In addition to the film's current theatrical run in conventional formats, the 70MM IMAX re-release will be shown in nine theaters around North America from Thursday, May 15 to Wednesday, May 21. The nine theaters in question include the City Walk Stadium 19 + IMAX in Los Angeles, the Metreon 16 + IMAX in San Francisco, the Irvine Spectrum and IMAX in Irvine, the Arizona Mills IMAX in Phoenix, the Lincoln Square 13 + IMAX in New York City, the Webb Chapel IMAX in Dallas, the Indiana State Museum in Indianapolis, and the Autonation IMAX in Fort. Lauderdale, and the Colossus IMAX in Toronto.
Jeff Goldstein, Warner Bros. Pictures' President of Global Distribution, talked about the decision as he stated,
"Audiences have spoken and we listened. If ever a film needed to be experienced in this incredible larger-than-life format, it’s Sinners. Ryan has delivered a film that has been embraced by fans who appreciate the craftsmanship that goes into creating a film for this screen-filling format and we wanted to give everyone the opportunity to see it — or see it again — in 70mm IMAX."
More details on Sinners

Sinners is earning worldwide praise from fans and Hollywood stars as it continues to dominate the box office and theaters, making it one of the biggest career highlights for its crew- Ryan Coogler, Michael B. Jordan, and Hailee Steinfield.
The gothic thriller that stands on horror elements of vampires is exploring a brand new genre for all the actors involved, while it has given a massive debut to newcomer Miles Caton, who shines through. The film is now one of the biggest hits in terms of an original project, and has also seen success in terms of positive reviews.
Sinners is about twin brothers Smoke and Stack who return to their hometown to open a juke club with their cousin Sammie, but their joy is short-lived as vampires enter their town and chaos ensues. It also has underlying themes of music, racial identity, and brotherhood, as it slowly grows into something much larger than just a vampire film. Coogler has previously stated how the film takes inspiration from Stephen King's Salem's Lot- one of the most iconic vampirical thrillers in history.
Sinners is available in theaters now.
