On June 27, 2025, fans will be able to see Porky Pig and Daffy Duck in The Day the Earth Blew Up: A Looney Tunes Movie from the comforts of their home. The film was released theatrically on March 14, 2025, in the United States, and now it's coming to HBO Max.

Initially, that film was coming to HBO Max directly, but was then sent for a theatrical run. As of this writing, the film has made $15 million at the box office, the same as its production budget. Critically, it holds a shining 86% critics' approval at Rotten Tomatoes.

Ketchup Entertainment acquired the film's North American distribution rights, and now it's going for another Looney Tunes film, Coyote vs. Acme. It'll be distributed globally. The film's current cast includes Will Forte, John Cena, P.J. Byrne, and more. Eric Bauza will also be there to voice several characters from the acclaimed franchise.

Fans have three options from the HBO Max plans if they plan to revisit the characters they spent time with in their childhood. The basic plan with ads will cost them $9.99 a month and just 10x that for a year (that's two months extra). The same is the deal with the other two ad-free plans, Standard and Premium, which cost $16.99 and $20.99 a month. Again, 10x the price for a year.

Every plan comes with its features. For example, the with-ads plan will restrict them to 1080p and two concurrent users. The ad-free ones allow four concurrent users and a 4K resolution for the video. Additionally, Standard and Premium plans allow users to download movies if they plan to watch them offline.

If you don't want monthly subscriptions, you can rent the Looney Tunes film. The first option comes with Amazon Video, where the film will cost them $5.99. The same goes with Apple TV+, Fandango at Home, and Plex. Or just go watch it in theaters. It's still there. If you are willing to buy it, it's $19.99 on the same platforms.

The film is available on Prime Video, too. That will cost you simply $8.99 a month. Enjoy the Looney Tunes film and then spend the rest of the day watching more if you want.

It's a struggle for both Daffy and Porky, if you want to put it like that. The owner is dead and has left the property to them only. However, they aren't living the way they should in a society. So, they need to do some repairs on it. They go on and look for a job to pay for the repairs.

As they go on to make their livelihood, things turn gooey and chewy as they work in a gum factory. However, things turn funny when the gum people are chewing turns them into zombies.
