Rappers 21 Savage and Tekashi 6ix9ine have made headlines recently. This started after Savage appeared on Big Bank’s podcast, the episode of which was released on December 12. During the conversation, Bank asked him whether the internet could affect someone’s career. Savage replied:

“H*ll yeah. Thousand percent. The fans got the voice.”

Bank asked if that’s the case, how one could protect themselves if they keep up with the pace of their work. 21 Savage said:

“I'm not saying destroy you to the point where you go from 100 to zero, but they can take your ass from 100 to 40, 50 for sure, overly quick too.”

Bank opined that there would still be people who could make their way through the criticism. 21 Savage said even if that was the case, they won’t make money like they used to. He then seemingly referred to 6ix9ine, saying:

“Like the rap boy.”

Bank asked who the person was. 21 Savage said the rapper who wore a lace front. Confused, Bank asked him to clarify who he was referring to. The British rapper said:

“The ni**a who told in New York, man. Who told all them all them ni**as in New York? The Mexican.”

He went on to say:

“The internet took his sh*t down.”

Meanwhile, Big Bank said that he might have just slowed down, but 21 Savage said that was not the case because he had no gas in the car. Big Bank then said:

“No, what I'm saying is, bro, you not get what I'm saying. What I'm saying was like, bro, certain sh*t happens and it and maybe it took a toll of you. Like Kanye, right?”

6ix9ine posts British magistrate sketch following 21 Savage’s comments

On December 11, 6ix9ine posted a parody video on his Instagram through which he appeared to address 21 Savage’s immigrant status issue. Savage is originally from the UK. In the video, Tekashi asks for the next applicant whose issue needs to be addressed. He said the person to be called is Shéyaa Bin Abraham-Joseph III, a part of which is 21 Savage’s real name.

A person imitating the British rapper arrives. 6ix9ine says as per his documents, Abraham-Joseph III wants to go to America. The person said:

“I need to go to America. Please, I will do anything. I would literally…I can make it. Trust me, I can make it. I can be an Atlantian.”

6ix9ine asked if he was not happy with where he was originally from. The person said he was not and needed to go to America. He then begged the rapper dressed as a magistrate to allow his request. He also said:

“You got to understand. I need to be from Atlanta.”

He even said that he knew Jay-Z and could even call him up. He then removed his neck chain and gave it to the magistrate. 6ix9ine then asked if he did not love his country, and the person said:

“No, I hated here. I need to change my identity. Nobody’s gonna take me serious as a gangster. I have to go to America. Please.”

6ix9ine then dangled a passport in front of him like a pendulum. The rapper said that he was a “traitor” and denied the visa. He said that he had been denied once and would be denied again. He then ordered the guard to arrest him for being a traitor.
