Russell Brand took to Instagram to indirectly address the two new charges that he is currently facing. The actor and comedian was charged with two counts of rape, two counts of sexual assault, and one count of indecent assault back in April. Now, he is facing one count of rape and one count of sexual abuse from two different women, according to the U.K.’s Crown Prosecution Service.Similar to how he took to social media to respond to the five charges back in April, he is doing the same with the two new charges. While Russell did not directly mention the two new charges made against him, he called the situation "a time of great darkness."In his new Instagram video, Russell addressed his friends and followers, wishing them a very merry Christmas. He says:"This is a time of great darkness, you're all aware of that. A time of confusion, and dispute, and conflict. But I've learned in my own life that attack can bring about grace.
