"Always worked hard, kept what’s mine, and declined hand outs": Josh Hall seemingly hits out at Christina Haack after divorce settlement

TV personality Christina Haack and entrepreneur Josh Hall have officially annulled their marriage. The couple tied the knot in 2021 but parted ways in 2024, and legally finalized the separation recently. Following their divorce, Hall shared a post on Instagram in which he was seen petting a horse. The post was captioned:

“Excited to spend Labor Day weekend in the real reality… Finally, legally divorced and a free man. I’ve always worked hard, kept what’s mine, and declined hand outs, and I’m keeping it that way.”

He went on:

“Lesson learned: don’t marry someone who needs constant public validation and will use your personal drama for attention.”

Earlier this year, Christina Haack shared with the cast members of The Flip Off that Josh Hall asked for $3.5 million as part of the divorce settlement. According to People Magazine, in the episode where she was seen working with Michael Lange and Kylie Wing, Lange asked her about the next court hearing for the divorce. Haack said:

“Court? Oh it got postponed because made a horrible offer. He asked for $3.5 million from me.”

Monetary claims arose last year when Christina Haack alleged that Josh Hall wanted a monthly support of $65,000. As per the legal documents, she said she was shocked at the request, as Hall was self-sufficient and needed no such support. Following this, Hall shared an Instagram story, saying that there was no truth to Haack’s claims. As per the conditions of the divorce, there will be no spousal support given to either party.

Christina Haack said the cast members were supportive when she shared her and Josh Hall’s marital problems

In May 2025, Christina Haack shared an Instagram story, writing how the divorce process turned out to be expensive. She wrote that because of it, she decided to curb her clothing expenses. Earlier in January 2025, Haack, Tarek El Moussa, and Heather Rae El Moussa sat down with People Magazine to discuss The Flip Off. During the interview, Haack shared having difficulties with Josh Hall. She said:

“I'd been talking to both of them about it. They were aware that there was issues and it's something that we had to sidebar in regards to how all of us were going to handle you know even filming with Josh, because there was already some difficulty there so they weren’t surprised and they were also very very supportive.”

Christina Haack and Tarek El Moussa were married until their divorce in 2018. During the interview, Tarek said that her well-being mattered a lot to them, not only for her but also for the kids. He explained that they were all like family and aware of the challenges she was facing. He acknowledged that she had made efforts to resolve the situation, but it ultimately did not work out for her or the children. He added that things were now more stable for everyone.

Speaking about the episode where she shared how she and Josh Hall split up, Christina Haack said it was the producer’s idea to include that segment in the episode. She said the moment he came through the doors, she became emotional while sharing the news with Tarek.
