According to People, the pair are “very close” and “act like a couple,” though they have not formally labeled their relationship. Their focus now appears to be on co-parenting and maintaining a supportive family environment.

Their relationship has evolved over the years. The two began dating in 2020 after meeting on the set of Midnight in the Switchgrass, and they got engaged in January 2022. Elle noted that they decided to step back to reassess what they want from each other and focus on individual growth.
