As per a recent article by The Daily Mail, former footballer David Beckham and his wife, Victoria Beckham, have unfollowed their son, Brooklyn Beckham, amidst speculations of a family rift.

While their 20-year-old son, Cruz, has denied these claims, as per US Weekly, he mentions that Brooklyn Peltz Beckham has blocked many family members on social media.

As per The Daily Mail, Victoria and David also believe that Brooklyn had unfollowed them. The publication also mentioned that one of the friends of David and Victoria Beckham thinks that the couple could never unfollow their son.

"David and Victoria will never stop loving Brooklyn, the source told The Daily Mail. They will always be here for him and they always want him to know that, they are devastated at this fall out. So far from this being them, it appears that Brooklyn has blocked them to show them that's it, this is final. It is very clear that this is a sign of his complete estrangement from his family."

The source mentioned that Victoria and David's last interaction with Brooklyn had him mentioning that he does not want to talk to them anymore. Brooklyn hasn't spoken for months now.

Cruz denies reports of David and Victoria Beckham unfollowing Brooklyn

As per a recent article by US Weekly, David and Victoria Beckham's 20-year-old son Cruz denies that his parents had unfollowed their son Brooklyn on social media.

Cruz posted a screenshot of The Daily Mail's account of the family dispute along with the caption, "NOT TRUE." "Let's be clear: my parents would never unfollow their kid. They and I both woke up blocked."

According to reports by US Weekly, David and Victoria's relationship with Brooklyn became tense just prior to his and Nicola's 2022 nuptials. Nicola's decision to wear a couture Valentino dress rather than one of her stylish mother-in-law Victoria's creations is said to have caused ongoing conflict.

When David celebrated his 50th birthday in May, Brooklyn and Nicola were conspicuously absent. Brooklyn was not interested in mending his ties with his family, a source later told US Weekly in October.

“Brooklyn has no interest in mending things at this time. A source told US Weekly. He’s really focused on living a peaceful, drama-free life with Nicola. They’ve built their own world together and are very content in it. They want to let things settle naturally rather than trying to fix something that still feels tense.”

According to news sources from May 2025, Brooklyn and his spouse were likewise displeased with Marc Anthony's performance during their first dance as a married couple.

According to a source close to the engagement, "the dance was a meaningful centerpiece planned just for the couple. The Peltz family invested a lot of time and money in this kind gift from Marc Anthony, which included staging and a live band at their house."

Neither David nor Victoria Beckham have not commented on the controversy yet.
