John Stamos thinks Mossimo Giannulli is solely responsible for Full House co-star Lori Loughlin's indictment in 2019's college admissions bribery scandal. The scandal rocked the nation, revealing that many high-profile celebrities had donated money to ensure their children's admission to elite schools.

Speaking to Josh Peck and Ben Soffer's Good Guys podcast, the ER actor said (sic),

“40 years I’ve known her. You can see through people after a few years. This woman’s a saint. I’m just heartbroken for her right now.”

The actor went on to criticize Giannulli and even blamed him for the bribery scandal that landed him and his wife, Loughlin, in prison.

Stamos described Giannulli as,

“He’s a terrible narcissist.”

Before supporting his co-star and friend,

“I really tried to be there for her during this time and also with the college scandal. I’m not going to debate whether she had much to do with it or not. I know she didn’t.”

The podcast went live on YouTube on October 20.

Lori Loughlin and her now-estranged husband, Mossimo Giannulli, were first arrested in early 2019 and accused of paying $500,000 to get their daughters, Olivia Jade and Isabella Rose, accepted into the University of Southern California.

Mossimo Giannulli: The Scandal and the Aftermath

While the now-estranged couple initially pleaded not guilty, they eventually admitted to charges of wire and mail fraud in early 2020. While Loughlin was awarded a two-month sentence in October 2020, her then-husband Giannulli was sentenced to five months in prison from November 2020 to April 2021. The two also had supervised release, community service, and $400,000 (in total) in fines as stipulations.

Continuing on the Good Guys podcast, the General Hospital star spoke about Loughlin's ordeal,

“She goes to f*cking prison for this assh*le for three months, right? And he goes for whatever. And in typical Lori fashion, I said, ‘How was it?’ She goes, ‘You know, I met a lot of nice ladies in there. We have a book club.'”

He continued his pointed words aimed at Mossimo and even spoke about their daughter, Olivia Jade.

“She didn’t deserve to be dragged through that. I know for a fact it was all him. I don’t think Olivia wanted to go to college. I can’t speak for her, but it seems like she was doing great with her YouTube.”

The couple parted ways earlier this month, after Loughlin reportedly found 'incriminating' texts and emails on Giannulli's phone.
