Actor Paul Walker died on November 30, 2013, when the car he was riding a 2005 Porsche Carrera GT, collided with a light pole and trees before bursting into flames. His demise left all his family and fans heartbroken.

Paul's family includes his parents, Cheryl and Paul Walker III, his daughter Meadow, and his younger siblings Caleb, Cody, and Ashlie. Marking the 12th anniversary of his co-actor, Vin Diesel, posted an emotional tribute on Instagram. In his message, Diesel noted that his 10-year-old daughter, Pauline, who was named after Walker, never got to meet the actor, "but when I call her name, I know you're near."

Paul Walker had siblings

Paul Walker was the eldest of four siblings. He has two brothers (Cody and Caleb) and sisters (Amie and Ashlie). The twins were raised in the Sunland area of Los Angeles, a blue-collar hamlet near the foothills of the San Gabriel Mountains. During their early years, the Walkers also spent time by the sea, especially at California's Carpinteria State Beach.

As per Hollywood Life in 2013, the news that the late actor and his pal were drag racing when they died in a car accident on November 30 has devastated Paul's sister, Ashlie. The rumors, according to Ashlie, were "a complete lie" and made the family's grief process "worse and more painful."

Although Paul and his younger brother Caleb were born four years apart, Paul and Cody were born fifteen years apart. Paul and Cody were close despite their wide age difference, with the late actor acting more like a big brother than a second parent.

On October 19, 2013, six weeks before Paul's death, Caleb married his longtime girlfriend Stephanie Branch in Orange County, California. Paul Walker, his best man, stood by his side during the wedding.

When Paul Walker passed away on the sets of Fast and the Furious 07, the production was put on hold for four months as the cast mourned the death of the actor. The filmmakers decided to proceed without Paul Walker, and his brothers, Cody and Caleb, were used as body doubles. Since the actor passed away in 2013, Cody has made it his goal to carry on his elder brother's charitable endeavors and make sure that the late actor's influence is still felt globally.

Though Paul Walker was mostly renowned for his acting performances, he was equally passionate about his charity work, especially his foundation Reach Out WorldWide (ROWW), which he created following the 2010 disaster in Haiti.

Vin Diesel's Tribute to Paul Walker

The Chronicles of Riddick star went on to tell how he is clinging onto the "smallest memories" of Walker, including "that grin" that "would irritate me." He continued:

"I'd give anything to be irritated by you one more time."

Additionally, he stated that Meadow, Walker's 27-year-old daughter, has been "such a gift to my children" and "a true cousin":

"Filming the first 'Fast,' you talked about her with such wonder in your voice," he said. "You showed how sacred fatherhood would be."

"When your mom saw me this summer, she looked right through me… Like she was searching for you. Like somehow, through my eyes, she could still find her son. She was right, you know. You were always my other half. I couldn't have made it without your family's love."

Paul Walker's daughter, Meadow Walker, also commemorated the anniversary of his passing with an Instagram post on November 30 that featured a childhood photo of her and her father. Meadow wrote on her Instagram:

"12 years without you… I love you forever."
