British singer Victoria Beverley Walker, also known as PinkPantheress, made an announcement on December 9. Taking to her Instagram stories, she wrote that for her 2026 North American tour, she would use the Face Value Exchange on Ticketmaster for sales. Her post read:

“In effort to give fans the best chance in getting tickets at the original price, we're using Ticketmaster's Face Value Exchange where tickets can only be resold at face value and are non-transferrable for shows sold on Ticketmaster in the U.S. and Canada (excluding Vancouver and New York, non-TM venues).”

The post continued:

“While we can't control what happens across third-party resale sites, we're doing what we can to protect against scalpers and inflated resale.”

Social media users reacted to PinkPantheress’s statement, and one X user commented:

“EVERY ARTIST SHOULD DO THIS.”

One online commentator said that this move was “genuinely protective,” as they shared:

“Fair access sounds simple, but in live music, it’s become a battle between fans and algorithms. Limiting resale to face value pushes the power back toward the people actually showing up for the music. It won’t end scalping entirely, but it’s a rare move that feels genuinely protective rather than performative.”

Similarly, another X user thanked PinkPantheress for taking the initiative. They wrote:

“Thank you for doing this i hope more artists all around the world take this initiative to protect fans from scalpers.”

Another social media user said that this was the only way for tickets to be resold, mentioning:

“This is the only way tickets should be resold. other, more underground and equitable, platforms have been doing this for years because it absolutely eliminates scalpers and allows tickets to be purchased and reshared by people actually attending the event.”

PinkPantheress talks about people’s opinions and her latest remix album

In October 2025, PinkPantheress sat down for an interview with Resident Advisor. During the conversation, she opined that her way of making music cannot be classified as “typical.” She cares more about what people would like to listen to than her own streaming interests. When asked if she felt the older generations understood her music, she said:

“Some people think I'm really really good and then some people on the flip side think I'm really really cr*p. Some people think I'm lazy and I just sample and that involves zero brain work and I don't think anybody's right and I don't think any anyone's wrong.”

She went on to say:

“I have my opinion of myself but I'm not going to speak my sh*t like people have their own opinion.”

PinkPantheress said she was excited because she finally got to work with many artists she had admired for a long time on her remix project, Fancy Some More?. She explained that she chose people who truly fit each song and made sure the collaborations felt right.

When she listened to a track, she could already imagine who would sound good on it, and that helped her decide who to include. She said she was clear about what she wanted and could picture the final sound in her head before it was even made.
