Brittany Renner and Kevin Gates are no longer together. The social media influencer confirmed their split during a recent interview with REAL 92.3 LA (KRRL), iHeartMedia’s Los Angeles-based hip-hop radio station.

Renner confirmed her divorce with ex-husband Kevin Gates on Sunday, June 7, 2025. She revealed that the marriage ended within two months. Brittany Renner said,

“We got married April 6 and divorced May 28.”

Renner discussed a 90-day reconciliation period based on Islamic laws, during which she cannot get romantically involved with someone else. The Basketball Wives alum acknowledged her current religion has made her life easier while allowing her to transition after her divorce from Kevin Gates. The By Any Means rapper dated the Instagram fitness model for almost three years before they eventually married in April this year. According to HotNewHipHop, Kevin Gates and Brittany Renner seemingly started dating in 2022, which was seemingly confirmed by the latter in a currently deleted Instagram post.

Before the Islah artist, Renner was linked to many popular celebrities. According to her book, Judge This Cover, Brittany was involved with Casey Therriault, a former Jackson State quarterback. It is unclear when they parted ways, but Brittany Renner dated ex-NFL star Colin Kaepernick after her breakup with Casey.

She recounted her toxic relationship with the former San Francisco 49ers star in her book. An excerpt from the book read (via TotalProSports),

“In true Colin form, he told her she had to pay for her own flights to see him. Convinced her that this was a test to gauge her true intentions and interest. Told her that if she was in it for the right reasons, she would save her money for flights. She was his best kept secret, he hid her away like a community whore, while she actually stayed with him for days & made his bed. Gave her forehead kisses before he left for practice.”

She continues,

“When it was time for her to catch her flight home, she asked when was she going to see him again. He said and she quoted, 'What I want to do and what I'm going to do are two different things. That's all I'm going to say.' It went downhill from there.”

The book also claims that Colin was a rebound guy for Brittany, who apparently parted ways with Casey due to ill-treatment. At the same time, Judge This Cover also argues that she broke up with Therriault to be with Kaepernick. According to TotalProSports, the book used code names for seven men, including Colin (Evan) and Casey (Seth).

Per social media speculations, the other celebrities referenced in Judge This Cover were likely to be Trey Songz, Chris Brown, Drake, Tyga, and Lil Uzi Vert. Before the book was published in 2018, she was rumored to have linked with these men.

According to a TMZ report, Renner was speculated to be involved with Trey Songz in 2014 after her breakup with Colin.
