Model Katie Price’s ex-husband, Kieran Hayler, seems to have landed in some hot water. On October 20, The US Sun published an exclusive report, writing that Hayler has been accused of sexually assaulting a 13-year-old girl in 2016, at a time when he was married to Katie Price.

The charges are three counts of rape and one count of sexual assault. However, a legal representative for Kieran Hayler spoke on behalf of his client, saying he denied the allegations. They also said:

“Mr Hayler is fully engaged and has been co-operating with the police throughout the investigation and will continue to do so. He looks forward to his name being cleared believing in the judicial system to do so.”

Katie Price and Kieran Hayler married in 2013, which continued for almost six years. Although they separated in 2018, their divorce was finalized in 2021. The former couple also shares two kids: Jett and Bunny. According to a statement by the Sussex Police:

“We can confirm Kieran Hayler, 38, of Northchapel in West Sussex, has been charged with three counts of rape and one count of sexual assault against a 13-year-old girl. The offences are alleged to have occurred at an address in West Sussex between June 1 and October 13, 2016.”

The statement continued:

“Hayler remains released under investigation and is due to appear before Crawley magistrates’ court on November 19. The girl, who cannot be named for legal reasons, has received ­support from specially trained officers as our enquiries continue.”

When did Katie Price accuse Kieran Hayler of infidelity?

While they were married, Katie Price was seemingly upset with Kieran Hayler. She said he was allegedly having an affair with someone named Jane Pountney. This happened in 2014. At the time, Hayler shared a few posts, wishing Price on her birthday. He also promised to help heal her heart and said he was hopeful of getting back the real-life fairy tale happiness again.

Taking to her website, Katie Price penned down the following:

“I am appalled that someone I loved, trusted and believed in has behaved in this way. If he had so little respect for our relationship I would have hoped he would have thought about our child, or the one that we have on the way.”

She also clarified that she would not be cutting him out of her children’s lives completely, saying:

“I will do all I can to ensure he maintains a relationship with his children should he want that. I am so grateful for the love of my children and family at this time.”

Announcing her pregnancy news that year, Katie Price wrote that everyone, including the doctor, was surprised. However, this time, she went through a different journey. She explained that she was still wearing small-sized clothes and usually gained a lot of weight during pregnancy, but this time she didn’t know she was already about six months pregnant, which shocked them all.
