Ballroom dancer Sharna Burgess spoke about her partner Brian Austin Green, especially as a father. Speaking to Us Weekly on May 16, Sharna Burgess shared that she fell for Brian early in their relationship because of how he treated his children.

She said he was the kind of father she had wished she had growing up, and mentioned:

“He is the kind of man that I watch every day with our children, and the way that he parents, and the way that he is not just parenting but living as an example of what a good man should be, in his conversations, in the way he loves me, in the way that he loves our children.”

Sharna Burgess said Brian Austin Green had always been an amazing person who treated others with respect. She said he was the man she hoped her kids would look up to as they grew up. The couple began dating in 2020 and have been together for almost five years.

They welcomed a boy, Zane, in 2022. This was followed by their engagement announcement in 2023. Brian Austin Green has a son, Kassius, with former partner and actress Vanessa Marcil. He also shared three children with ex-wife Megan Fox.

As per the media outlet, the dating couple is now expected to get married in 2026. Speaking about having another baby, Sharna Burgess said:

“In all honesty, it takes a lot to plan and it’s a lot going on, and I would much rather my priorities lie in trying to find space to have another baby, which I’m not saying is right now, but I also don’t want to be pregnant for the wedding.”

Sharna Burgess and Brian Austin Green share thoughts about their podcast

In an interview with Toofab at the 32nd Annual Race to Erase MS gala, the couple looked back on their podcast, especially the recent episode about Brian Austin Green. When asked about his feelings towards the two-part episode of the Oldish podcast, Green said:

“I am not one that really ever has any problem talking about my life and what has brought me to this point. I don't have things to hide. It's not like I did a bunch of things where I'm like, ‘Oh god don't ask me about this. I don't want to talk about that.’ So, I'm kind of an open book.”

Brian Austin Green went on:

“But Sharna was amazing. She was incredibly respectful, like she knows what I have been through. She knows where to go and where to go carefully and she did that amazingly and Randy did the same.”

Sharna Burgess explained that she was the right person to interview because she knew Brian well and understood how to ask the right questions.

She said the intention was always to focus on his personal story, not to criticize anyone else, and she believed the interview reflected that. Brian Austin Green added that their podcast aimed to be honest and inspiring by sharing their own stories or meaningful conversations with others.
