How many children does Patrick Dempsey have? All about the kids as actor attends twin sons' graduation

According to a People report, Patrick Dempsey recently shared how proud he was of his twin sons while attending their graduation ceremony.

On May 30, Dempsey posted a picture of him and his wife Jilian Instagram, attending the high-school graduation ceremony of their twin sons Darby and Sullivan.

Patrick Demspey shares three children with his wife Jilian Frank. The couple's eldest child is their daughter, Talula, born in 2002. Dempsey and Frank welcomed their twin sons in 2007.

“Graduation!!” So proud of you boys and cannot wait to see where the next chapter of your lives will take you!” Patrick Dempsey joyously wrote in the caption.

His wife Jilian Frank also commented on the post.

Patrick Dempsey and his wife Jilian are seen posing with their sons for their graduation ceremony in the photo, with Darby and Sullivan Dempsey all decked up in blue graduation robes for their big day. The two graduated from Crossroads School of Arts & Sciences in Santa Monica, California.

Dempsey's son Patrick reposted the same photo on his Instagram as well, along with another picture of him collecting his diploma and shaking hands with his professor, with his elder sister Talula by his side during the ceremony.

Dempsey's second son Sullivan also shared a picture of him posing along with his best friends during the graduation ceremony, with all of them flaunting their graduation caps and robes.

In a previous interview with People, Patrick Dempsey has shared that it is challenging to raise three children, adding that he wants all his children to become independent. He said:

“They need to find out how they interact in the world, they need to learn those boundaries, they need to make mistakes. And you need to be there for them and allow them to learn from that.”

About Patrick Dempsey's three children

Patrick Dempsey and his wife Jilian Frank are parents of three children. Their oldest is daughter Talula, born in the year 2002, while their twin sons Darby Galen and Sullivan Patrick were born on February 1, 2007 in Los Angeles.

Per People, Dempsey and his wife had already selected their boys' name before their birth. However, it was their daughter Talula who suggested which name should be given to which child.

Dempsey's daughter Talula is often spotted with the actor at various public events. Talula shares a close bond with her father, and Dempsey often posts pictures of her on his Instagram account.

"We talk about all kinds of things. We listen to the news and discuss it. I remember when I would do stuff with my father and my mother. You want those moments. They go by very quickly, so you try to get them in when you can. " Dumpsey told Parade in an interview about his daughter Talula, per People.

According to Dempsey, his daughter Talula is incredibly creative and is a big fan of cooking. She graduated in 2020, following which she spent months in quarantine. Talula is the owner of Talula's kitchen and is a pastry chef.

Meanwhile, as per Dempsey, his boys have completely different personalities. While Darby is reserved and quiet, Sullivan is funny and witty. Dempsey mentions that watching the toddlers grow up has been an experience of its own.
