Jennifer Aniston's Rachel Green has seemingly found her Ross Geller.
According to Us Weekly, multiple sources close to the Friends star have confirmed that she is dating Jim Curtis. Per MailOnline, Jennifer sparked the dating speculations when she was seen with the wellness coach/hypnotherapist during her recent vacation over the Fourth of July weekend in Mallorca, Spain. Jason Bateman and his wife, Amanda Anka, were also photographed with the rumored couple.
Aniston, who has been married twice, parted ways with her second husband, Justin Theroux, in 2017 and has kept her love life a secret ever since. A source told Us Weekly,
“They are being super private but have been spending a lot of time together. They are happy and really into each other.”
The insider claimed that Jennifer Aniston and Jim Curtis were introduced by their mutual friends. Furthermore, the source told Us Weekly that the celebrity pair “started off as friends but really hit it off” eventually. They added,
“They’ve been hanging out a lot, but very much on the DL at her home in LA. It’s very Zen, and she has always been very much into that. They’re a good match.”
While The Morning Show alum has been in relationships with various well-known celebrities at different stages of her life, Curtis is seemingly the first person she has been linked to since her split from Justin Theroux.
More about the relationship history of Jennifer Aniston
The Horrible Bosses actress had a brief fling with her Ferris Bueller co-star Charlie Schlatter, whom she met on the set, as claimed by the former GQ Editor-in-Chief Jim Nelson in 2014. While Jennifer Aniston didn’t date Schlatter for long, her relationship with Daniel McDonald lasted for five years, from 1990 to 1995.
After two decades of their breakup, the Friends alum described the Tony nominee, who passed away in 2007 due to brain cancer, as her “first love.” She told the New York Times,
“He was my first love — five years we were together. He would have been the one. But I was 25, and I was stupid. He must have sent me Justin to make up for it all.”
She was also linked with Adam Duritz and Tate Donovan during the ‘90s. Interestingly, the latter also portrayed Rachel Green's (Jennifer Aniston) love interest, Joshua Burgin. After breaking up with Donovan, the Marley & Me star started dating Brad Pitt. Their relationship began during the late ‘90s, and the couple got married in 2000.
In 2001, the Fight Club actor also made a guest appearance on Friends' thanksgiving episode in Season 8, “The One with the Rumor,” as Will Colbert, a character who hated Rachel Green. However, the couple announced their separation in 2005 and divorced later that year. Brad Pitt married his Mr. & Mrs. Smith co-star, Angelina Jolie.
While she was still undergoing divorce from Pitt, Aniston became a victim of misinformation after reports of her "not wanting to have kids" emerged in 2005. In the September 2005 issue of Vanity Fair, Jennifer hit back at those reporting the stories,
“A man divorcing would never be accused of choosing career over children. That really pissed me off. I’ve never in my life said I didn’t want to have children. I did and I do and I will!”
She added,
“The women that inspire me are the ones who have careers and children; why would I want to limit myself? I’ve always wanted to have children, and I would never give up that experience for a career. I want to have it all.”
While their split might have seemed unamicable at the time, Jennifer Aniston and Brad Pitt reportedly mended their relationship in the coming years. Remarking on the bond they shared, the Murder Mystery star told The Hollywood Reporter in 2020,
“We’re not in daily communication. But we wish nothing but wonderful things for each other. Nobody did anything wrong. You know what I mean? It was just like, sometimes things [happen].”
Jennifer Aniston was later linked with her The Break-Up co-star, Vince Vaughn. While the pair dated for a year, the actress praised Vince during a Vogue interview in 2008,
“I call Vince my defibrillator. He literally brought me back to life. My first gasp of air was a big laugh! It was great. I love him. He's a bull in a china shop. He was lovely and fun and perfect for the time we had together. And I needed that. And it sort of ran its course.”
Jennifer Aniston also dated John Mayer for a year before calling it quits in 2009. In 2010, she started dating Justin Theroux, whom she met on the set of Tropic Thunder a few years back. They exchanged vows in 2015 during an intimate ceremony, according to People.
Aniston and Theroux were last appeared together as a couple in July 2017. The pair attended Jason Bateman’s Hollywood Walk of Fame star ceremony, per People. Eventually, they announced their split in 2018.
