Rapper Machine Gun Kelly, aka MGK’s daughter, Casie Baker, shared her thoughts about her little sister, Saga Blade. Baker, who is 15 years old, was in attendance at the 2025 Kids' Choice Awards with her father.
They spoke with Cassie DiLaura from Entertainment Tonight at the award ceremony, who asked how much Baker liked being a big sister. She responded:
“I was the only child for a really long time. So, it's good having like a little sister. She's so cute. She's getting so big and fat, I love it.”
DiLaura asked Casie Baker about her upcoming 16th birthday and whether she planned to get her driver’s license.
She confirmed that she would. MGK jumped in, saying she got her license before he ever did and added that she had been emotionally mature for years, even acting older than her age for a long time. When asked how Saga reacted to his music, Kelly replied:
“I was giving her a little drum lesson last night, like trying to trying to get her little hand to hold a stick me and Megan plays so much music for her.”
For the unversed, Casie Baker was born to MGK and Emma Cannon. The singer welcomed Saga with Megan Fox in March 2025. Speaking about her baby sister at the award show, Casie told Courtney Tezeno:
“I think she’s just a good addition to the family. Now we have two girls in the family, I have another sibling, it’s cute.”
Why did MGK name their daughter Saga?
During his appearance on the Today show, Kelly explained that his newborn daughter's name reflected her journey over the past five years, marked by moments of presence and absence.
He said her name symbolized an epic tale, referencing the Nordic goddess of storytelling, and believed she was destined to have a future filled with storytelling. MGK released his song cliché this year. When Cassie DiLaura asked Kelly to share his thoughts about the song, he said:
“It’s like opening a gift I didn’t know I was getting or something. So, yeah, I am glad I took a leap of faith and did something different.”
The singer was asked to share his thoughts about his upcoming album, which will be released sometime in August 2025. MGK said:
“I think my fans are familiar with that vulnerability is what I am good at but I think I really just brought happiness and fun into this album which is rare for me.”
DiLaura asked Baker if she had a chance to have a peek at the album, and she said yes, praising the work as good. The interviewer asked MGK how it felt to have his daughter support his upcoming album and if her opinion was the most important.
The rapper agreed, saying she played a big role in helping him avoid bad choices in music. He explained that even though the vinyl version already had a set track title, he planned to update the digital version with the title his daughter picked, which he felt was a much better choice.
