Actress Mia Talerico, who played Charlie Duncan on Disney’s Good Luck Charlie, shared an Instagram post. In it, she was seen holding a board that said she started her 11th grade on August 20.

According to Entertainment Tonight, she began her journey on the show when she was only 11 months old and continued until she was four. The Instagram post was captioned:

"First day of Junior Year Wish me good luck"

In January 2025, Talerico was a guest on the Pucker Up with Joely Live show, where she was asked what she couldn’t live without. Her answer was TikTok, as she said:

“I'm going to cry if it gets banned. I'm not leaving my house for a week. I'll be depressed.”

Joely asked why she didn’t post much on her social media, to which Mia Talerico said it was because she had a private account. While discussing shows, she mentioned having a boyfriend, which took Joely by surprise. The host then asked how long Mia and her boyfriend had been together, to which she said:

“We've been together like a year and like 3 months now I think. I remember I posted like a Instagram photo like last year from homecoming and people are like, ‘If he hurts you we will kill him, like we will kill him.’ I was okay.”

Mia Talerico said she met her boyfriend through another friend. At the time, she had just gotten out of a relationship, and her friend suggested that she talk to the guy, and she agreed.

Joely then read out a fan question, asking if Mia Talerico would do a reboot of Good Luck Charlie. The actress said she would love to do another one. She said:

“I was so young that like I don’t really remember a ton and so it would be great, you know. I have like a conscience now and so I could actually remember things I think that'd be really fun.”

In another segment of the show, Joely asked Mia Talerico to hit the table if she had a movie coming out in 2025, and Mia admitted that she did. The movie was called American Summer, and it was about baseball, young love, and growing up.

She explained that Steve Guttenberg played the older version of Mikey, while Christie Brinkley played the older version of her, which she thought was exciting. Joely asked her to snap the table if she would like to play Rapunzel. Mia said:

“Oh my God, I was so hoping you were going to ask me this question because so many people have been commenting that I need to play the live action Rapunzel. That's like a dream of mine.”

When Joely asked how often she was getting scripts, Mia Talerico said that before the strike, she was doing about three a month, but during the strike, she didn’t get any. After that, things slowed down, and since she was busy with school, she asked her manager to give her a break for a while.

She told her manager she wanted to start taking on more again, so she hoped more opportunities would come.
