K-pop superstar Rosé just scored a major music triumph: her single APT. with Bruno Mars has claimed the No. 1 spot on Billboard's Global 200 year-end chart.

In a new clip released by Billboard on Dec. 9, the BLACKPINK star is seen being clued up about the new milestone.

"You are number one on the Billboard Global 200 Songs of the year."

Rosé's face quickly lit up in amazement, calling the new achievement "insane." She then reflected on the phenomenal collaborative track that has been raking in accolades since its release in October 2024.

"I don't know what to say. Bruno [Mars] and I talk about this all the time. But we've always really been excited for the song. We've been out the biggest fans of our own song as well. But it's it's just crazy how this song has grown on its own. I feel like the listeners have just taken it away and it's just grown its own legs and arms. It's just flourishing."

The On the Ground songstress went on:

"I feel honored that this song came to me. It came to Bruno. I'm really grateful about that. And people are congratulating me but I feel like I'm just congratulating the song, 'cause I don't even know how this has all happened. I'm just really grateful to be a part of it, and to be congratulated for it."

Rosé and Bruno Mars' APT. milestones

Apart from Rosé's Billboard Global 200 year-end feat, APT. has also triumphed in numerous awards ceremonies. It won the Song of the Year award from the recent MAMA Awards, as well as from the MTV Video Music Awards.

Further, the single earned three major nominations (Best Pop Duo/Group Performance, Record of the Year, Song of the Year) from the music industry's biggest night, the GRAMMYs. This achievement also broke records as it marked Rosé as the first K-pop lead artist to get a "Big Four" nomination.

The artist also received two Guinness World Records as the first K-pop act to be nominated in the GRAMMYs for Record of the Year and Song of the Year.

During her speech as she accepted the SOTY trophy at the 2025 VMAs, the BLACKPINK singer expressed her gratitude to Bruno Mars, her team, labels, and her co-members. She also dedicated the major milestone to her teen self.

"Twelve years later, I dedicate this award to my 16-year-old self who dreamed. And to all those who watched me grow into the artist I am today and placed their dreams in me to make this change. Every single one of you has put me here and now I believe there is no imposter in the world when MTV has given me this award here at the VMAs."
