"I love what I'm doing" - Lindsay Lohan opens up about her 'Lohanaissance'

Lindsay Lohan, 38, opened up about her busy yet immersive daily life routine. In May 2025, she sat for a conversation with E! News - E! Online to discuss motherhood, spending quality time with her husband, her partnership with Pure Leaf Tea, her 'Lohanaissance', and more.

In response to the host, during the interview published on May 21, asking her, "Do you know you are in the 'Lohanaissance,' she answered gleefully,

"I feel great. I am really happy. I love what I am doing. I feel like when I was younger, everything was just moving so quick, and now it's nice that I am older and wiser, and I know how to take moments for myself to relax because I like to give my work my all."

Later, Lohan also reflected on being a mother to a baby boy and how she manages her time with her kid. She shared:

"But then, when I am with my son, I want to give him my all or my husband and I want to give him my all. So I like to kind of have all those parts of my life working together."

The Freakier Friday actress rejoined the tea brand for its "Time for a Tea Break" campaign.

Lindsay Lohan is the face of Pure Leaf's "Time for a Tea Break" campaign. According to a Food & Wine report, this collaboration encourages people to take a break each day, savoring pauses in their busy lives.

While speaking about the exciting collaboration, she further continued,

"I wanted to rejoin again with Pure Leaf because I really want to get the message across. I value the message of taking a tea break deeply to revitalize ourselves. And I feel like we all, you know, have busy schedules, and especially moms."

Explaining how it is important to give ourselves some space to enjoy quick breaks, Lohan elaborated,

"Sometimes we forget how much we are valued, and we need to value ourselves back that much. Taking a break and having a nice refreshing tea is not gonna kill you."

Talking about having a good time with he partner, she chimed in, saying,

"I think like a massage is nice. The other night, I was like, also to, I was like we are getting couple's massages. It's not up for debate. It's just happening."

Expressing her unparalleled love and affection for her child, Lindsay Lohan shared the sweetest stories of cherishing moments with her son.

The Mean Girls actress gushed,

"With my son before he sleeps... That actually relaxes me a lot. Just holding him. I just want to savor these moments."

During the interview, she also revealed her son's sweetest gesture he loves the most.

"My favorite is Mama hook, Mama hook, and he just wraps his arm around me."

In this chat, she also remarked on "anything else" she needs "to tackle during the 'Lohanaissance.'"

Lindsay Lohan confessed her desire to direct, commenting,

"Eventually, at some point, I really, really do want to direct. It's definitely something on my bucket list. I grew up on sets and I have learned so much from the directors and the people that I have worked with."

Though she is unsure of her directorial debut, she wishes to experience this new journey sometime soon.
