Professional wrestler Ric Flair recently opened up about his previous statement regarding Hulk Hogan's death, who passed away earlier this year. According to TMZ, Flair, who appeared on the Doubl3 Coverage podcast last month, spoke about how Hogan allegedly was no longer being prescribed pain medication by doctors, prompting him to allegedly obtain "street dr*gs" from other quaters. Now, Flair took to X (formerly Twitter) after Hulk Hogan's widow, Sky Daily, explained his previous statement to be wrong. He said:“I should never have mentioned it."Hulk Hogan, whose real name was Terry Gene Bollea, passed away earlier this year on July 24 at the age of seventy-one from a heart attack. According to ABC News, Hogan was taken to the Morton Plant Hospital after authorities were called to his home, but he was later declared dead at around 11:17 a.m. According to reports, the controversial wrestler was suffering from a range of health issues prior to his death. Ric Flair went on to say that he had allegedly spoken to Hogan the day before his death, adding that Hogan was not doing well and was in pain. He further claimed, as Hogan was not prescribed the required medication by doctors, he allegedly resorted to alternative relief methods following his neck surgery, saying, "So they went and got the dr*gs off the street." A few days after his appearance on the podcast, flair reiterated his previous statement on X (formerly Twitter), explaining that he had allegedly received information from unnamed family members. He wrote:"There Seems To Be Some Controversy Over My Remarks That Street Drugs Killed Hulk Hogan. I Only Was Repeating What I Know To Be A Fact Through Family Members."Most recently, Sky Daily, who had been married to Hulk Hogan since 2023, clarified in an interview with TMZ Sports on Monday, December 1, that Ric Flair's information was false. She explained that Flair did not talk to Hogan, as Hogan had been under constant care at the hospital.
