Singer Chris Brown appears upset about being compared to others. On June 27, 2025, he posted a long Instagram story urging people to stop comparing him with other artists. He explained that he worked hard on his own, with little support, while facing constant media pressure.

Brown stressed that his main goal was to provide for his family and made it clear that he wasn’t worried about what other artists were doing. He also said that he doesn’t hang out with celebrities and doesn’t feel accepted in their social circles. Chris Brown added:

“Breezy Bowl is for the dedicated fans who actually wanna be there! F**k everything else! I been overly busting my a** for the last 20 years and I understand I will never be recognized for nothing more than drama!”

Lastly, he wrote:

“So miss me with all dat sh*t please!”

Chris Brown has already started his Breezy Bowl XX tour. The tour, backed by Live Nation, has dates across Europe and North America. It celebrates Brown’s two decades in the music industry. Recently, the singer was involved in controversy over a photo with a fan. According to Perth Now, a fan who purchased a meet-and-greet package posed for a photo with Brown, in which he wrapped his hand around her neck.

He is currently involved in legal issues related to a 2023 incident in which he allegedly hit a producer with a bottle. Brown is scheduled to appear in court in October 2025, following the completion of the tour.

What happened between Chris Brown and Rihanna? A look into the events and what followed later

During his relationship with former partner Rihanna, the singer allegedly assaulted her violently, leading to her hospitalization. The matter was taken to court, and he accepted a plea deal. After completing a course in domestic violence, which was part of the plea agreement, Chris Brown reportedly shared a Twitter (now X) post writing:

“I have enough self respect and decency to be proud of accomplishing this DV class. Boyz run from [their] mistakes. Men learn from them!!!”

The incident involving Rihanna was also one of the reasons he was denied a UK visa in 2010. In 2012, he attended a party where the Diamonds singer was also present, which breached the restraining order.

A year later, he was involved in a physical altercation with two men outside a hotel, after which he and his security guard spent three days in jail. Chris Brown then entered a rehabilitation facility, where doctors diagnosed him with bipolar disorder. Due to his past, he was barred from performing in Canada in 2015. Brown later took to Twitter and wrote:

“The good people of the Canadian government wouldn't allow me entry. I'll be back this summer and will hopefully see all my Canadian fans!”

In 2016, Chris Brown’s manager accused the singer of causing him physical harm. The following year, he was involved in a physical altercation with a photographer, but he was not arrested.
