Molly Gordon, White’s co-star and love interest in the series, took to Instagram to share images from behind the scenes of the fourth season of the show, also putting up two images featuring her and White on June 27. The photographs fueled rumors of an alleged romance between the co-stars, prompting fans to inquire into the status of Gordon and White’s relationship.

Jeremy Allen White is not currently married. White was previously married to actress Addison Timlin, with whom he shares two children. However, the couple divorced in 2023.

Jeremy Allen White’s relationships, explored

Jeremy Allen White started dating Emma Greenwell in 2011, as per People Magazine. The couple met on the set of Shameless, where Greenwell portrayed White’s character, Lip’s love interest.

It is not known when Greenwell and White broke up. However, People Magazine reports that Greenwell kept posting photographs of White on social media till about 2013.

As per Cosmopolitan, the reasons behind the couple’s split were not made public. However, the publication noted that Greenwell's social media activity suggested that she had moved on.

After his split with Greenwell, White was linked to Addison Timlin. According to a report by People Magazine, the couple knew each other long before they were romantically linked. White and Timlin first met when they were in their teens and attended Professional Performing Arts School in New York City together, as per People Magazine.

Cosmopolitan reported that Timlin, in an interview with Harper’s Bazaar, first indicated indirectly to their relationship when she shared,

“I've got a sweetheart who I will not disclose, but, yes, he'd be the guy…We have a nice foundation from being friends for a long period of time, and then it took a hard right turn into romance.”

The couple, after dating for five years, welcomed their first child, a daughter, in October 2018. Less than a year after the birth of their first child, White and Timlin got engaged.

Within a few months after their engagement, the couple tied the knot on October 18, 2019, as per People Magazine. Incidentally, the couple married just two days before their firstbornturned one year old.

In 2020, the couple welcomed their second daughter.

Jeremy Allen White had already gained widespread acclaim after he starred in Shameless. However, his career took a dramatic turn and reached new heights after he appeared in the FX series, The Bear, in 2022. The show, in which White plays a chef who attempts to reinvent his family-owned restaurant, earned White his first Golden Globe.

At the time, White was still married to Timlin, whom he acknowledged in his acceptance speech at the award ceremony.

Timlin responded to her then-husband’s win at the Golden Globes with a touching post. Timlin’s post on Instagram was reflective of Jeremy Allen White’s growth over the years as an actor. Timlin wrote,

“When we were 14 years old and I saw you perform for the first time in drama class, I couldn’t take my eyes off of you. When we’d run your lines for Shameless I’d be so tickled knowing beforehand what everyone would get to witness the next day on set. When I watched the pilot for The Bear, I cried my f-----g heart out.”

Also referring to White’s win at the Critics Choice Awards, Tomlin added,

“I think somewhere I must’ve known how much life was about to change, but mostly I just knew that the world was about to discover what I’ve known all along. What a privilege it’s been to know first. I love this picture so much because you look 14 and 31 at the same time—watching you win on Tuesday was one of the most overwhelming dimension hopping moments of my whole life, watching you win last night while holding our two babies was pretty out of this world too.”

However, Timlin filed for divorce shortly after that in May 2023. According to a report by Entertainment Tonight, Timlin’s divorce filings revealed that the couple had separated back in September 2022.

As the revelation came in the wake of Timlin’s celebration of White’ achievements, fans were taken aback. As per Entertainment Tonight, which quoted unnamed sources, the couple had been “attempting to work things out,” however the situation became more difficult later on, leading to the split.

After his split with Timlin, People Magazine noted that White had been linked briefly to actress Ashley Moore and to Spanish singer, Rosalía.

When Molly Gordon joined the The Bear cast from season 2 onwards, she and Jeremy Allen White sparked relationship rumors when they were spotted publicly displaying affection towards each other in 2024. Although the two themselves never addressed the relationship publicly, an inside source revealed to People Magazine that they were “hanging out romantically.”
