She said, “I reached out to him and at first, we were gonna meet — the four of us.”

However, she felt something different was needed. She explained why she wanted a private talk first.

Teresa said, “But then I was thinking about it, and I was like, you know, I wanted to talk to my brother first.”

She added that she wanted the moment to feel real and personal.

She explained this again by saying, “I wanted him to really see me, and I wanted him to feel it from me, and vice versa, I wanted to feel it from him.”

Teresa said the one-on-one meeting helped them work through old issues. After this, they met again with Melissa and Luis, which allowed the entire group to move forward.

Why did Teresa Giudice want peace?

Teresa Giudice said her daughter Gia influenced her thinking. Gia encouraged her to forgive her ex-husband Joe Giudice. Teresa told E! News that Gia asked her to let go of the past.

She said, “[Gia] wanted me to let go of the past with her dad.”

Teresa Giudice said she wanted to show her daughters that forgiveness matters, adding, “As a mom, we have to be good role models for our children and I'm always a mom first.”

This experience made her think about her brother Joe as well. She explained how her mindset shifted.

Teresa Giudice said, “When I thought about my husband and letting the past go, I thought about my brother. I want my brother back in my life.”

She claimed that she called him immediately after and he was quick to respond.
