"It’s just awesome" - MGK makes rare statement on personal life, talks about his and Megan Fox’s baby

MGK, formerly Machine Gun Kelly, and Meghan Fox embraced parenthood by welcoming their daughter on March 27, 2025. He announced the news of her arrival on Instagram, affectionately referring to the little one as their "little celestial seed."

Neither Fox, 39, nor Kelly, 35, comments on their baby or shares her name publicly. However, the rapper expressed his happiness at being a father to his newborn daughter.

On May 26, he spoke with Access Online on the red carpet of the 2025 American Music Awards, as cited by People Magazine. Feeling excited over fatherhood, he shared,

"I’m just so elated. It’s just awesome."

MGK gushed over his and Megan Fox’s kid

Cherishing new memories and experiences, he reflected on co-parenting his second kid, sharing,

"I was just meant to be a dad."

Also, he cupped his arms, gesturing like swaying a baby slightly, and shared with the outlet at the event,

"They smell so good."

The my ex’s best friend singer had a conversation with E! News at the American Music Awards, where he discussed his kid's health. During the interview, he opened up on skipping the Las Vegas ceremony after his red carpet appearance, as his daughter fell ill.

The Rap Devil singer explained,

"Baby's great. She has a little bit of a fever, so I'm gonna just walk the carpet and go back, you know what I mean, and handle my business. Give her my pheromones, and let her heal up."

He further admitted,

"I was born to be a dad. Yeah, it's my purpose."

As per People Magazine, Megan Fox and MGK announced their engagement on January 12, 2022, on Instagram. Sharing the exciting news, the New Girl actress wrote in the caption,

"In July of 2020 we sat under this banyan tree. We asked for magic. We were oblivious to the pain we would face together in such a short, frenetic period of time. Unaware of the work and sacrifices the relationship would require from us but intoxicated off of the love. And the karma"

The couple shocked their fans, with Fox adding,

"And just as in every lifetime before this one, and as in every lifetime that will follow it, I said yes.…and then we drank each other's blood. 1.11.22 ✨."

In November 2024, they announced their pregnancy, sharing Megan's baby bump. Shortly after the announcement, Fox and MGK called off their engagement in 2024. Despite their separation, they are co-parenting their daughter.
