Philadelphia Eagles center Jason Kelce has been making headlines for his recent charity event. On June 25, 2025, he was at his Ocean Drive charity event in New Jersey’s Sea Isle City, where he removed his shorts to show his USA-themed speedo.

As seen in a video posted by the Philadelphia Eagles on X, he brought a lifeguard chair, climbed onto it, and removed his shorts, in a tearing gesture, and showed the speedo he was wearing.

This event helps in collecting donations for the Eagles Autism Foundation. According to Page Six, this isn’t the first time Jason Kelce pulled a stunt like this. He made a record of drinking 30 ounces of beer within six seconds at a contest held in 2023.

Meanwhile, players like Hollis Thomas, Cooper DeJean, and others were also in attendance at the charity event. According to WFMZ TV, Jason Kelce said:

“As players you feel a responsibility to be part of the community, with all the love and respect, and attention you get. We get put on a platform in the city to be able to do things like this.”

He went on:

“It's a great cause to raise money around, you get to have a blast with the fans and drink a bunch, and you can hang out with a bunch of guys you used to love hanging out with every day.”

Jason Kelce said the charity event reflected community support

Speaking to Alicia Roberts of CBS Philadelphia, Jason Kelce said that even before the event officially started, people had already gathered outside. He felt the fundraiser had become something the entire community supported.

He praised the strong sense of unity in Sea Isle and said hosting the event at Ocean Drive and nearby bars worked out well. Kelce added:

“The community all come out. They support it. Everybody's geared up. It's a good time.”

In 2021, he spoke to FOX 29 Philadelphia and shared his thoughts about why the fundraising event meant so much to him. Jason Kelce said:

“My wife's really involved. She works with special needs kids. I really didn't know much about autism, to be honest with you before I met her. Between getting married with her, going into different classrooms, meeting different kids and everything and learning more about it, it's become very near and dear to our family.”

At that time, Jason Kelce shared that it felt great to be around people again. He mentioned that he became a father at the beginning of the pandemic. He took his daughter to the zoo for the first time, expecting her to be thrilled by the animals.

Instead, she was most excited to see other people. He reflected on how easy it was to take those everyday moments for granted and said it felt amazing to finally return to normal life.

In other news, Jason Kelce’s wife, Kylie Kelce, was unhappy over the comments her husband received on social media. Addressing the issue on her Not Gonna Lie podcast, she reacted to the comments from some followers who made flirty remarks about her husband, saying people needed to calm down, stop with the suggestive emojis, and show some respect.
