A woman at the center of the investigation into Matthew Perry’s death has agreed to plead guilty to federal charges connected to the actor’s fatal overdose, per The Hollywood Reporter.

Prosecutors say Jasveen Sangha, dubbed the "Ketamine Queen," ran what they described as a drug distribution hub from her Los Angeles home, supplying ketamine to wealthy clients and celebrities.

Court filings allege Perry was among those who received the drug through her network, which also involved doctors and the actor’s personal assistant.

When the Friends star was found dead in his jacuzzi in October 2023, medical examiners determined the cause to be “the acute effects of ketamine.”

Jasveen Sangha, 42, is one of five people who have admitted to playing a role in supplying Perry with the drug, according to U.S. officials. The group included two physicians accused of selling ketamine, as well as Matthew Perry’s live-in assistant, who prosecutors say injected the actor.

Federal authorities have described the case as an exploitation of Perry’s long-standing addiction, turning his struggles into profit.

Jasveen Sangha's attorney, Mark Geragos, told the BBC:

“She’s taking responsibility for her actions."

Under the plea agreement, she faces up to 60 years in prison.

Matthew Perry’s death cast a spotlight on the presence of ketamine in Hollywood circles, raising questions about how the anesthetic, intended for controlled medical use, could be so easily obtained and misused.

The Justice Department described Sangha’s residence, called the “Sangha Stash House,” as a stockpile of vials and pills, ranging from ketamine to cocaine, further fueling concern about the hidden drug culture around celebrity life.
