As per a recent article by US Weekly, Survivor alums Sabiyah Broderick and Katurah Topps recently announced their relationship on Instagram by posting a series of carousel and videos together.

"On Survivor, we both struggled with fire, I couldn't make it and she went a week without it. But what we've built together? That's a fire that finally lit itself!" began the social media post.
"from Players to Partners, from Castmates to Co-dreamers… Meet Survivor's FIRST Black Queer Woman Couple," wrote the couple, thus announcing their relationship on the social media platform on June 22.

The carousel included pictures of the couple holding hands, hugging, and kissing. A number of Survivor cast members also commented on the post and expressed their happiness at the announcement.

Katurah Topps and Sabiyah Broderick competed with each other in season 45 of Survivor, a long-running reality competition series, in 2023.

Katurah Topps also revealed that she was extremely shocked when Broderick was eliminated from the competition in the early stages of the season. Toops made a revelation later on in the season at the Lulu camp.

"At the time I felt so alone. I had nobody. I was cold at night, shivering, and I found her shirt, and I put it on, and I was like, ‘This kept me warm,'" mentioned Troops.

Season 46 winner of Survivor, Kenzie Petty, commented on the post:

"IM SCREAMING, happy pride month to us all!!!!!! Yaaaaaaassssssssss this is the best.”
"OH MY GOD THIS IS EVERYTHING,” wrote season 43's Cassidy Clark.
"You know I’m so obsessed,” wrote Teeny Chirichillo from season 47.

Broderick and Topps replied with a "Thankyou" and showed gratitude to all the people who supported the couple by commenting on the post.

Sabiyah Broderick and Katurah Topps also appeared on the Sunday episode of The Pride Has Spoken podcast, where the duo spoke about their romance.

"We never spent not one single day in the game playing together which is so crazy and so mind-blowing,” Katurah said on the podcast.

Broderick mentioned that she was eliminated during the season and had left her shoes and black shirt behind. While the two were not seen interacting with each other on the show, Katurah ended up wearing her black shirt for the rest of the season, along with her shoes during the water sports.

Topps also told the outlet Out about having a proper interaction with each other on a cast trip to Cape Cod after the shoot of the season was wrapped up, but before it was aired.

"We'd talked on the phone a bit [prior to the trip], but this was the first time we saw each other in person and the true beginning of our friendship," Topps told the outlet.
"We realized that our friendship — being 'besties' who talked every single day — was turning into something more last fall, around August 2024, and we decided to explore it casually. But, by January of this year, we knew we needed to make it official," Topps continued.
