Lizzo spoke about her mental health struggles
Taking to Instagram, the About Damn Time singer reflected on her personal struggles with mental health. Not every day passes in the same way, and she opened up about one such day in one of her recent social media posts.
Recalling how she cried out and faced an emotional and overwhelming day, Lizzo also added,
"Today I was bawling in bed… I cancelled my workout… I was driving around sobbing because some days I just can’t take it. This shit ain’t easy for anybody."

Hoping the best for everyone and sharing a necessary reminder, she further continued,
"I have grace for everyone who feels like they’re going insane… for everyone who feels like nothing is good enough… for everyone who feels like they failed… I FEEL YOU. But I’m still here, and so are you."
Reading her confession, netizens have poured their heartfelt reactions and love for the singer in the comment section. They appreciate the artist for using her impactful voice and the vast platform to raise awareness about these sensitive aspects of life.
About an hour later, she posted a video on Instagram of playing a flute, People reported.
Sharing the short clip filmed in a backyard, she wrote in the caption,
"Have a good day"
This was not the first time we saw Lizzo express about mental health so candidly. The Cuz I Love You musician joined host Jake Shane on a May 2025 episode of Therapuss with Jake Shane and revealed that she does not read online comments anymore.
She said:
"All viral ain't good viral. The internet don't know that they think all viral is good viral. It’s not."
She further continued:
"And I’ll be like 'Oh f*ck-, what did I do wrong?' I did something wrong, because I don’t read comments anymore and I don't have context with anything anymore. I live in a bubble."
Lizzo admitted that she stopped scrolling through her comments "about two years ago" because "TikTok comments got so mean." She called the permanent break "liberating."
