Former MMA fighter Rampage Jackson addressed Raja Jackson’s alleged assault on Syko Stu during an August 2025 wrestling match. On September 4, Rampage appeared on The Ariel Helwani Show, where he discussed his son’s incident. While recounting the sequence of events in the ring, including the music change, Rampage brought up Syko Stu’s past behavior, saying:

“This ain’t the first time Syko Stu done some sh*t like this backstage, Motherf*cker be drinking all the goddamn time and he plays that that uh you know pro wrestling save me from this PTSD and stuff like nobody want to fire his a**.”

Rampage Jackson went on:

“My loyalty to my son and and even though I don't f*ck with my son right now, I'm still going to keep it 100 and be loyal. They need to the police need to investigate that sh*t, how many times Syko Stu and attack somebody backstage and piss people off being drunk and sh*t. Then then you guys will figure out what took so long for them pro-wrestlers to get in that f*cking ring and pull my son off of them. Investigate that sh*t.”

He admitted Raja went too far and made it clear he didn’t condone his son’s actions. Rampage Jackson said if his son didn’t have a concussion, he would have taken serious action against him. He said he would have even fought Raja for what he did in the ring.

Rampage Jackson said the incident was nothing new to pro wrestling

At the beginning of the interview, Ariel Helwani asked how everything has been for Rampage Jackson, adding that he has been getting a lot of heat due to the incident. The MMA artist explained that the backlash made it seem like he himself had taken part in the incident. Sharing his thoughts, he told Ariel:

“Honestly, I think um this has happened in pro wrestling before. What Raja did was uncalled for and I know it affected a lot of people, but I didn't f*cking do it, like cause I think he's my son and his father is a public figure and they want to come after me like, and people automatically assume that that I'm going to defend my son and I'm going to like try to pay people off and get them out of trouble.”

Rampage Jackson said he was just as angry at Raja because he had lied to him. He explained that he was live-streaming when Raja got hit on the head with a can, and when he called him to ask what was happening, Raja didn’t mention that it was part of setting up a revenge match.

Rampage said if he had known, he would have told Raja to go home, especially since he had almost been knocked out in the gym the day before. At first, Rampage had to stay quiet because his lawyer told him not to speak about it, but then he saw everything spreading online.

He said he started getting racist messages and even threats toward him and his family. Rampage Jackson was frustrated because, to him, it was simply one man hitting another with a can, yet people twisted it into a race issue. He felt people also twisted his words when he tried to speak up.
