During a KnokX Pro Entertainment & Academy wrestling event in California on Saturday, Rampage Jackson’s son, Raja Jackson, attacked army veteran and independent wrestler Syko Stu, aka Stuart Smith.

The now-viral clip showed Raja entering the ring and tossing Stuart up in the air before slamming him on the mat. Jackson then mounted on top of his opponent and threw nearly 20 unanswered punches at his face, as Syko Stu appeared to be unconscious.

Subsequently, the referee and other wrestlers intervened and pulled Raja Jackson away. Syko Stu suffered serious injuries and was taken to the hospital, where he is currently awake and stable, but in critical care, as per the latest reports from his family and friends.

In the wake of the incident, Rampage Jackson took to X and issued an apology. He mentioned that he does not condone his son’s actions, adding that he had “no business being involved in an event like this.”

The controversy surrounding Raja Jackson came a few days after his father asked him for a second DNA test during a Kick livestream last week.

Rampage Jackson expressed doubt about whether Raja was his son or his “nephew,” as he bore a resemblance to his brother, Cortez. Meanwhile, the 25-year-old MMA star denied the accusation, claiming that he and his uncle looked “nothing alike.”

Everything about Rampage Jackson’s children in the wake of the latest scandal

Quinton “Rampage” Jackson has five children. Two of them are with his former wife, Yuki Jackson, including son Elijah and daughter Naname Nakia. They divorced in 2006 after a paternity test revealed Rampage had fathered a child with another woman in May 2000 while still being married to Yuki. This child is his son, Raja, 25, who is now a professional MMA fighter.

Rampage also has another son named D’Angelo Jackson. In 2023, reports emerged that he became a father to his fifth child, a daughter. The identity of the baby and her mother remains undisclosed.

During a Kick livestream last week, the former UFC heavyweight champion asked Raja directly for a second DNA test. Claiming that his son and his brother looked alike, Rampage Jackson stated:

“You guys look alike. A lot alike. We don’t look nothing alike. Now they don’t look anything alike. She said you look alike, and it’s a bad thing. Who’s my ugly as f**k? We look nothing alike. You look like my brother, though. Hey, you might be my f**king nephew. You look just like my brother.”

Raja Jackson dismissed the speculation, asking, “Who? Which one? Cortez. No, I don’t. I don’t look nothing alike.” However, the 47-year-old Irvine resident continued:

“You look just like him. You might be my nephew. You know a damn one. I gotta do a second DNA test.”

Raja Jackson appeared to be shocked at the revelation and asked, “Wait, you did a first one?” Rampage responded by saying, “F**k yeah,” adding that he got “DNA testing” done on all his children.

Raja Jackson is currently facing controversy

Less than a week after the father-son exchange, Raja Jackson is now facing controversy for his assault on Syko Stu. He has, however, not issued a public apology or response. Rampage Jackson took to X late on Saturday and wrote:

“I want to clear up the misinformation about my son Raja. I’ve been confirmed that the wrestler (Stuart Smith, aka Syko Stu) is awake and stable. Raja was unexpectedly hit in the side of the head by him moments before Smith’s match. Raja was told that he could get his ‘payback’ in the ring. I thought it was a part of the show.”

Calling his son’s action “bad judgment” and a “work that went wrong,” Rampage Jackson added that Raja isn’t an “MMA fighter, not a pro wrestler” and should not have signed up for the event.

“I don’t condone my son’s actions AT ALL! He suffered a concussion from sparring only days ago and had no business doing anything remotely close to physical contact. As a father, I’m deeply concerned with his health AND the well-being of Mr. Smith,” Quinton Jackson continued.

He concluded by saying that he was “very upset” with the entire incident, but his “main concern now is that Mr. Smith will make a speedy recovery.” Rampage Jackson apologized on behalf of his son and to the streaming platform Kick for the situation.

Notably, in the wake of the incident, an old video of Rampage Jackson saying he set aside bail money for Raja has surfaced online. In it, Quinton claimed to know that his Japanese children, aka the ones with ex-wife Yuki, would go to college. However, Raja and D'Angelo were unlikely to seek higher education.

"If he goes to jail, I've to bail him out," Rampage said about Raja.

The case is currently being investigated by the LAPD. Nobody has been charged as per the latest reports.

According to Fightful’s Sean Ross Sapp, the spot between Syko Stu and Raja Jackson was pre-planned. However, the attack was unexpected. Stu is currently being treated for dental trauma and facial fractures.
