Malcolm-Jamal Warner died on Sunday while vacationing with his family in Costa Rica. It is reported that he was caught in high waves at Playa Grande beach while visiting Cahuita, Limon. The Caribbean Guard personnel stated that the drowning happened immediately.
Rescue workers pulled him out of the water, but there were no vital signs. CPR was performed on the beach, but it failed. He was 54 years old at the time of his death.
Warner was best known for his role as Theo Huxtable on The Cosby Show. He had a long television career and was recognized for his calm and steady presence on screen.
