Actor Scott Wolf, known for his works in Party of Five and Doc, responded to his wife, Kelley Wolf’s, recent claims. According to a report by E! News, amidst their ongoing divorce proceedings, Kelley allegedly claims that he is endangering their kids and abusing them.

Sharing an exclusive statement to People Magazine on August 15, Scott said:

“There are some significant challenges that are making our situation incredibly difficult and contentious, and it is tragic for all involved. I was informed of some deeply disturbing and entirely false allegations that were made about me by my estranged wife.”

Scott, who has three children with Kelley, was granted temporary custody on July 15. He told the outlet that he wanted this difficult time in his family’s life to stay as private as possible, but he explained that his children’s well-being was the most important to him.

Over text messages, Kelley Wolf allegedly told Scott Wolf that she intended to raise accusations of psychological abuse, withholding passports, abuse, etc., against him. Moreover, she reportedly discussed these issues during a 911 call earlier in July 2025.

She even told Scott Wolf that her basis for making these claims was someone advising her to do so. Nonetheless, she said she wasn’t sure if these accusations were true.

Kelley reportedly said that when those accusations were made against her in the restraining order, it painted her in a negative light. She admitted that the only way she felt she could defend herself was by making serious claims.

Scott Wolf said he wanted to protect his children

Meanwhile, Kelley Wolf told the outlet that she did not believe Scott would ever hurt their children. She said she had already lost her career, reputation, children, and even her marriage, leaving her with almost nothing except her life. She explained that she had made careful choices and was still hopeful for her children’s future.

Scott Wolf told People Magazine that he decided to speak up because she told him about her plan to make claims against him. He explained that she even admitted she didn’t believe those claims were true, but wanted to use them to gain an advantage in court and in front of the public. He mentioned:

“In order to protect my kids, I am providing the text messages she sent to me where she describes this plan, so there are no questions about her intentions, or the malicious intent behind her false allegations made and/or planned for the future.”

Although Scott Wolf said he didn’t believe the claims, he felt that they could harm his children. He believed:

“I hope that anyone who might speak publicly or report on such things, will consider this before spreading any further information from a clearly unreliable and completely compromised source.”

Scott Wolf said he wanted people to respect his family’s privacy, and he was thankful to everyone who had shown them love and support. Although he now holds the temporary custody of the kids, Kelley reportedly got supervising time. The couple, who tied the knot in 2004, called off their marriage after 21 years.
