Actor and comedian Marlon Wayans clarified his stance about Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs. For context, this goes back to when he criticised the Netflix documentary, Sean Combs: The Reckoning, in which rapper 50 Cent was an executive producer. Following his criticism, he and 50 Cent engaged in an online feud. On December 10, Wayans posted a self-recorded video on Instagram, in which he said:

“Alright. So, I am gonna make it abundantly clear. I am not here defending Diddy. I am here because I got dragged into this because somebody asked me a question and I had an opinion. Nobody’s wrong for giving an opinion about any subject. Period. I am not here defending Diddy.”

Marlon Wayans went on to say:

“Don’t let the narrative fool you or get it to you once again. Somebody’s creating narratives. This is my point. So please, look at the whole clip that I did and then look what happens with the narrative and that’s what I am telling you, y’all. People don’t be sheep. Use your brain. Use your freedom of thought, freedom of speech and don’t ever let nobody bully you. Never, don’t let nobody bully you. You got me? Now, back to trolling this troll.”

What did Marlon Wayans say about the documentary?

The comedian shared another Instagram post with a photo of 50 Cent. In a lengthy caption, Marlon Wayans joked that 50 Cent looked bad even while wearing a suit and said the suit looked like it was about to burst open. He also teased him by saying his face didn’t match the nice outfit and that people might be scared of him, except for someone small who wasn’t afraid.

When Marlon Wayans appeared on REAL 92.3 LA recently, he shared his thoughts about the documentary on Diddy, saying:

“You can create any narrative as a producer and as a storyteller. I can create any narrative. It doesn't mean it's true. I can get an interview. I can do this, I can get footage, and I could make you think this about that person. That doesn't necessarily mean it's true.”

He continued:

“50 and Puff have a long term beef. It's personal. It's between him and Puff but before it's between the both of them, it's between them and God. Puff's down on his luck, and 50's kicking a man when he's down. If luck ever turns on 50, you gotta be careful what you put out. There’s a karma to every action.”

Marlon Wayans talks about Diddy's parties

In September 2024, Marlon Wayans appeared on the Club Shay Hay podcast, where he said that he had been to plenty of Diddy parties. However, he said that he always left early and never saw what was claimed to have happened there. He said when he heard about those viral claims, he became confused about when those happened. Wayans jokingly said:

“I was there till 3:30. You mean 3:32? So, they waited for me to leave like, ‘Alright good. That Wayans ni**a's gone. He talked too much.’ I've never seen it. Never seen nothing, you know. I see dr*gs, you know.”

He said he was content in his life as he was with his father, mother, and God. Marlon Wayans remembered what his mother told him about karma and tried to be out of legal trouble.
