NFL player Stefon Diggs seems to be in hot water. He has been accused of strangling his in-house chef, Mila Adams. The incident happened on December 2 due to a pay-related dispute. As per her claims, Stefon Diggs choked her to the point that she found it difficult to breathe. Meanwhile, a copy of the police report from the Dedham Police Department has been circulating on X.The report mentions that when Adams went to the police station, she was emotional. Although unwilling to give a statement, she requested a female officer. Since one wasn’t available immediately, the male officer went ahead to record the statement.Meanwhile, according to a report by the Los Angeles Times, the chef informed the police that she was contacted by Stefon Diggs’ girlfriend, who tried to keep her from reaching the authorities. According to this claim:“She received a voice mail and text messages from a female that she believed to be Diggs girlfriend. Based on these messages, [the alleged victim] believed that Diggs somehow knew the police were contacted. The messages stated something to the effect of ‘You don’t need to do all this. It’s not that big of a deal.’”Stefon Diggs denied the accusations. According to his legal representative, David Meier:“The timing and motivation for making the allegations is crystal clear: they are the direct result of an employee-employer financial dispute that was not resolved to the employee’s satisfaction. Stefon looks forward to establishing the truth in a court of law.”Looking at the chef’s claims about Stefon Diggs from the day of the assaultAs per the police report, the chef hesitated to reveal the identity of the suspect but later mentioned that it was Stefon Diggs. She said that Diggs entered her bedroom and they discussed the pay issues, something about which they had already communicated over texts. However, he was irked by it, and he “smacked her.” The statement by the recording officer goes on to say:“She said that she tried to push him away. The male then tried to choke her using the crook of his elbow around her neck. She said that he was behind her with his arm wrapped around her. She said that she did feel like she had trouble breathing and that she felt like she could have blacked out. She said that as she tried to pry his arm away, he tightened his grip. At that point, the male threw her onto the bed.”Nevertheless, the chef told Stefon Diggs that he owed her money. He said those were lies and left the room. She even told the officer that Diggs needed to sign off on the payments. Meanwhile, when asked about the injuries she sustained, she mentioned that she had some redness on her chest. The statement mentioned:“I inquired about the details of her employment, so I could understand the relationship. She said that she began as the private chef on or around 7/20/2025 and that her employment was supposed to go through the end of the NFL football season. She said that she is normally paid by wire transfer and the initial agreement was for weekly pay.”According to NBC News, an arraignment for Stefon Diggs has been set for January 23.
