Actress Tara Reid has responded after police claimed that they didn't find any evidence of her being drugged in a Rosemont hotel on November 23, 2025. People magazine reported that Tara had alleged being drugged in the hotel by a stranger and was taken out on a stretcher.
However, Rosemont Public Safety Department officials told the news outlet that after reviewing surveillance footage and conducting multiple interviews, they had found no evidence that her drinks had been tampered with. They added,
"We can confirm that a bartender covered her drink when she left the bar which is standard practice for bartenders to do."
Tara Reid is reportedly standing by her claim, while describing the experience as "horrifying." She noted in a press release,
"This has been a horrifying experience for me that is severely affecting my mental health. I cannot sleep over this, it's a very scary feeling not knowing what happened to me. I believe I was drugged. Something happened to me."

Tara Reid is reportedly maintaining her stance of being drugged by a stranger at a Rosemont hotel. While the police officials have noted that there is no surveillance footage of her drinks being tampered with, they are awaiting results from the hospital records. They added,
"We cannot, however, confirm at this time if or what specific chemical testing the hospital may have conducted."
They revealed that Tara Reid is also cooperating with police to share the hospital records." They continued,
"Pending those results or further information coming forward, our detectives will follow up on those leads accordingly. At this time there is no criminal act that has been committed and there is no one we are currently investigating. While we do not have any evidence that a drink was tampered with, it is a good reminder to never leave a drink unattended. If you ever believe you have been drugged or feel unsafe, please reach out to local authorities."
However, Reid has continued to emphasise her claims and told People,
“Bottom line is no one ends up in the hospital incapacitated for over 8 hours after a drink."
Tara Reid and police officials are currently awaiting hospital records to examine if the former had been drugged. The actress has expressed her helplessness following the "horrifying" incident and noted that it has affected her mental health.
