The Beekeeper 2 cast: Every returning star and new member confirmed so far in the Jason Statham action sequel

The Beekeeper 2 is the upcoming action thriller film that will serve as a sequel to the 2024 film The Beekeeper. The first film was directed by David Ayer, with Kurt Wimmer as the writer. It was released on January 12, 2024, and became a commercial success. Here's the official synopsis as per Letterboxd:

One man's campaign for vengeance takes on national stakes after he is revealed to be a former operative of a powerful and clandestine organization known as Beekeepers.

The makers have announced the sequel and lately, more and more cast members are getting unveiled. Let's find out all the names that have been revealed so far.

Lately, several actors have joined the cast of the upcoming sequel, The Beekeeper 2. Recently, Pom Klementieff and the wrestler-turned-actor Adam Copeland, will be appearing alongside Jason Statham in the action thriller. Klementieff has acted in titles like Guardians of the Galaxy as well as Mission: Impossible - The Final Reckoning. Copeland is best known for his time in WWE as Edge. He has now transitioned into acting, following the footsteps of Dwayne Johnson and John Cena.

Statham will be reprising his role as Adam Clay, a former government assassin who comes out of his retirement to avenge the death of his innocent landlady. Other confirmed cast members include:

Jemma Redgrave as Jessica Danforth

Timo Tjahjanto will be directing the sequel, taking the reins from Ayer. Kurt Wimmer, who wrote the first film, is returning as the writer. Statham will be producing The Beekeeper 2 with Wimmer and Chris Long. The production banners are Longshot Productions and Punch Palace Productions. The film's production has recently begun.

The first film grossed $162.6 million worldwide, becoming a successful venture. In an interview with Consequence.net, Ayer spoke about doing the film.

“I’ve always kind of wanted to do a more escapist, fun, pop action thing. [The film] had all those elements, and then it had something you normally don’t see in these action movies, which is a really cool mythology about the beekeepers and beekeeping. It snapped in — like, I read the script and I could see it. I knew how to make that movie, and I wanted to make that movie.”
