“The meeting we needed”: Fans reacts to Victoria Beckham’s playful cameo on Lily Collins’ backstage video at Jimmy Fallon’s show

British Actress Lily Collins was a recent guest on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon. As seen in a video posted on the official Instagram page of the show, Collins was making a video, lip-syncing to a song, when Beckham happened to walk in the background. She turned towards Collins, gave a look, and continued walking. Surprised, Collins said:

“She was just…How could you not tell me?! Wait, what? Oh, my God! That’s embarrassing.”

Social media users reacted to the fun-filled interaction. One Instagram user (@collinsupdatez) wrote:

Online commentators also seemed surprised at the collab. Another Instagram user (@harris_reed) commented:

Lily Collins talks about her baby daughter and the choice between tennis and pickleball

During her appearance on the show, Jimmy Fallon congratulated Lily Collins on her baby girl. The actress said this would be her daughter’s first Christmas. She said:

“It's her first Christmas. She's ten and a half months. I don't know if she knows what's happening, but she knows it's a festive season.”

Fallon asked, besides music, what else the baby liked. Collins said:

“She's got a very strong grip. She is very into tennis. I'm telling you. I can see it. This summer, when we were filming Emily in Paris, we weirdly timed out with all the tennis tournaments, so when we were in Rome, we went to the tournament there. Then we went to the epic five-hour Sinner-Alcaraz match at Roland-Garros, which was incredible.”

Lily Collins said they had bought their daughter a small tennis racket at Wimbledon, and she held it tightly. She also mentioned that her husband loved pickleball, which created a fun little rivalry at home between tennis and pickleball. Fallowed showed a photo of the baby holding a tennis racket in one hand and a pickleball racket in the other. Lily Collins commented:

“I know. It's hard. But I swear she swings more to the racket.”

Fallon then welcomed Victoria Beckham and asked how she got the nickname “Spice.” Lily Collins said she also wanted to know the history behind the name. Victoria Beckham explained that she got her nickname because she enjoyed fancy clothes and nice restaurants.

She said it worked in her favor because the other Spice Girls didn’t care much about designer outfits. So, when they made music videos or performed on stage, the others wore the free clothes, and she ended up getting the whole clothing budget for herself.
