DJ Akademiks has a few words for Young Thug’s onstage proposal to Mariah The Scientist. On December 16, during his Hometown Hero benefit concert in Atlanta, the Bad Bad Bad singer proposed to his longtime partner on stage. He dropped down on one knee and asked Mariah if she would marry him. He then brought out the diamond ring and slid it onto her finger.Meanwhile, during a recent live session, Akademiks played the video from the show in which Thug was seen proposing to Mariah. He said:“I ain't gonna lie. His side ch*cks gonna be gonna be back flipping out the wazoo, my ni**a like I hope he took like a couple weeks to cut off his side ch*cks, but and I'm saying this tongue and cheek.”He went on to say:“But anytime a ni**a proposed the side ch*cks be hurt. They can't wait to expose it. So hopefully he took some time to clear the field, but I'm happy for Mariah The Scientist and also [...] Thug.”He then showed a clip from what Mariah said during her appearance on Power 105.1. Akademiks said:“I ain't going to lie, this is a cheater special.”He claimed:“Your girl catch you cheating. She's on the brink. She's tired of you. I'm pretty sure. And also, I think you know, she stayed on the phone with him while I think he was in jail. You got to marry her, man. But this is a cheater special, man.”He even suggested that Mariah The Scientist should clear her contact list to avoid any unnecessary drama.What did Mariah The Scientist say about her aspirations for 2026?During her conversation on Power 105.1, Mariah The Scientist was asked about her life. She said she was under the weather.
