“It’s strengthened me. I can only give radical forgiveness,” he told the Daily Mail.
He added that he had faced many misconceptions in his life, but believed that happened to people with a greater purpose.
The 34-year-old actor said he was working on a documentary called Beast of God, which will share his childhood story.
“It’ll keep Xanax in business, for sure, for the people that watch it,” Weston said.
He explained that the project would show personal struggles that shaped him.
He also said he had been cutting people out of his life who were negative influences.
“Once that happens it’s better than eliminating other things, like bad habits,” he shared.
Weston added that this allowed him to focus on his future and what he was meant to achieve.
