According to a report published on Page Six on August 18, 2025, Weston spoke about the case in August 2025 at the OPTIX Film Series in Las Vegas. He said the experience had made him stronger.

“It’s strengthened me. I can only give radical forgiveness,” he told the Daily Mail.

The 34-year-old actor said he was working on a documentary called Beast of God, which will share his childhood story.

“It’ll keep Xanax in business, for sure, for the people that watch it,” Weston said.

“Once that happens it’s better than eliminating other things, like bad habits,” he shared.

Weston added that this allowed him to focus on his future and what he was meant to achieve.
