The war of words between Donald Trump and Elon Musk seems to have made comedian Bill Maher share his thoughts about the developments. During the recent episode of his Real Time show, Maher made some interesting comparisons of the Trump-Musk feud.

He said the feud was the only thought in his mind. Maher commented:

“When you think about it, the richest man in the world and the most powerful man in the world. It's like Godzilla versus King Kong, if Godzilla was on ketamine and King Kong had a comb over.”

The comedian went on:

“I mean these guys were so close, it was like Brangelina or Bennifer. No, you know that. Elon and Trump they had their own couple name, Elump.”

Speaking about the feud, Bill Maher mentioned that the situation had been building up for some time. Referring to a recent event at the White House, he said Musk showed up with a black eye, claiming it happened while playing roughly with his child.

Bill Maher added that Trump made a sarcastic remark, saying he offered Musk some makeup to cover it up. However, he later clarified that he made up the black house incident.

He went on:

“And now this is just a war that is going back and forth and back and forth and the stakes are so high because the winner faces Blake Lively.”

Bill Maher highlighted how Elon Musk's attitude toward Donald Trump had changed. He noted that Musk once expressed strong admiration for Trump, but more recently seemed conflicted. Musk admitted he didn’t want to criticize the government, yet also didn’t want to be blamed for its actions.

Bill Maher previously supported Donald Trump for his decision about Harvard

Bill Maher pointed out that even some conservatives had started criticizing Trump, especially over the increasing national debt and issues like deportation.

He mentioned a town in Missouri where most people supported Trump but were upset when immigration authorities removed a well-liked local waitress and mother of three. Speaking about how politics works, Bill Maher said:

“One side gets elected precisely because the other side was just in power and pushed their agenda way too far and drove people in the opposite direction the pendulum swings back and forth with people not voting for anything but just to get rid of the latest extremist.”

Meanwhile, Elon Musk alleged that Trump was involved in the Jeffrey Epstein case. In a now-deleted post, Musk wrote:

“Time to drop the really big bomb: @realDonaldTrump is in the Epstein files. That is the real reason they have not been made public. Have a nice day, DJT!”

Trump also criticised him. In one of his Truth Social posts, he wrote:

“I don't mind Elon turning against me, but he should have done so months ago. This is one of the Greatest Bills ever presented to Congress. It's a Record Cut in Expenses, $1.6 Trillion Dollars, and the Biggest Tax Cut ever given. If this Bill doesn't pass, there will be a 68% Tax Increase, and things far worse than that.”

Bill Maher had previously supported Trump’s initiative of freezing funds at Harvard. According to The New York Post, he commented that Trump had gone all out in criticizing Harvard, and surprisingly, he believed there was some truth behind it.

Maher admitted that he had been calling out Harvard’s flaws long before Trump did, describing the university as a place that often produced arrogant and unlikeable people.
