50 Cent’s long-running feud with his oldest son, Marquise Jackson, made headlines this Father’s Day after a series of controversial online posts.

The first post was a light-hearted jibe from Marquise, but soon enough it descended into a serious and controversial topic, in which 50 Cent claimed that his ex-partner, and son, had committed fraud against him.

Things took a turn for the worse on Sunday, June 15, when Marquise fired off a couple of provocative social media posts in his father's direction. One of them was a deep fake video made by the AI tool, which depicted him and a child appearing to be a youthful version of his half-brother Sire Jackson alongside 50 Cent.

Another post sarcastically questioned whether 50 Cent would post both his children on Father’s Day or only Sire, who he had with model Daphne Joy.

50 Cent, not one to run from a conflict, took no time to respond. The rapper on his Instagram called Marquise a “little punk” and hurled some serious allegations towards Marquise and his mother Shaniqua Tompkins:

"You little punk your momma got you and your sister scamming. Them people came to ask me some questions about it. I said I don’t f*ck with them, I’m a law abiding citizen," he said.

50 continued with a post on possible participation in PPP loan fraud. Since then, Marquise Jackson has deleted one of his posts on Instagram:

"I bet they are gonna blame me when they get picked up for scamming PPP loans, they gonna say it was my fault they were broke," 50 added.

A look into 50 Cent and Marquise Jackson's past controversies and conflicts

The friction between 50 Cent, whose real name is Curtis Jackson, and Marquise Jackson is not new. The two men’s relationship began to unravel when they became estranged in Marquise’s teenage years, amid legal and emotional fallout from 50 Cent’s break with Shaniqua Tompkins.

Over the years, their feud has publicly unfolded, with both taking shots at each other online and in interviews. According to International Business Times, one of the most controversial moments was in 2018, when 50 Cent commented on a photo of Marquise with the son of his longtime foe, a drug lord named Kenneth:

"If both these little n**ga got hit by a bus, I wouldn't have a bad day," he commented on an Instagram post.

But amid all the bad blood, Marquise Jackson has said he wants to get back together. In 2022, he went viral by wanting to pay his father $6,700, the amount of his monthly child support, to spend a day with him.

The gesture was widely interpreted as a symbolic plea for reconciliation, but 50 Cent offered a dismissive response in an interview, questioning the integrity of the offer and suggesting that Marquise was more interested in attention than connection.

Beneath the disputes is a longstanding financial and entitlement battle. 50 Cent previously spoke about instilling the concept of working for your money in his kids. He has blamed Marquise for what he believes to be a sense of entitlement.

According to reports, 50 used to pay a $10,000 allowance per month at one point. Marquise Jackson, however, has stated that he was not well supported relative to the cost of living and his father's great wealth and public stature:

"F**k, this ni**a’s crazy. You 25 years old, why you still talking about child support?," 50 responded to an Instagram post.

As some fans hope that the father and son start to get along with each other, the recent controversy says otherwise. Both parties seem to be at odds and continue to beef online.
