Curtis James “50 Cent” Jackson III’s former partner, Daphne Joy, is in the news amidst the Diddy trial.
While the model-actress has not been named as a witness, many on social media, including the rapper himself, are speculating she is the new mystery witness. According to Inner City Press (@innercitypress), a woman identifying as Jane started her testimony on Thursday, June 5, 2025.

The witness has maintained anonymity, but many internet users, including 50 Cent and Livingston George “DJ Akademiks” Allen, have shared their assumptions. Akademiks did a livestream speculating about Jane Doe’s identity, while 50 made a direct reference on Friday, May 6, by posting Daphne Joy’s picture on Instagram (currently deleted) and captioning it,
“Hey does anyone know who Jane doe is I’m trying to research this . 😳 man this stuff with Elon and Trump crazy.”
As mentioned, Daphne Joy is a model and actress who has appeared in movies like Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides and 50 Cent-starrer Get Up, per IMDb. According to Page Six, she also has an OnlyFans account, while her Instagram handle has 1.6M followers. Joy was in a relationship with the In da Club rapper for two years.
The pair share a son named Sire, who was born in 2012. According to Us Weekly, 50 Cent and Daphne Joy dated between 2011 and 2012 and parted ways after the birth of their child. After their break-up, the actress-model accused the Animal Ambition rapper of domestic violence, the former’s representative told CNN in 2013.
The law firm representing Daphne Joy at the time also shared in a statement (via CNN),
“Daphne Joy and Curtis Jackson have been together for a few years in an exclusive relationship. They had a child and now Daphne’s number one priority is to ensure both her and the baby’s safety during this difficult time. We also hope everyone will respect her and the baby’s privacy.”
According to the BBC, an LA court gave three years' probation and 30 days of community service to the Before I Self Destruct rapper in the DV case.
50 Cent’s ex, Daphne Joy, was named in Rodney Jones’ $30M s*x trafficking lawsuit against Sean “Diddy” Combs in 2024
Lil Rod, a record producer, made startling allegations against the hip-hop mogul in 2024. In his $30 million lawsuit, Jones accused his former collaborator of operating a sex trafficking ring while alleging that the Bad Boy Records founder sexually harassed him. In his filing, Rodney also named Daphne Joy as an alleged s*x worker of P. Diddy.
After the accusations went public, 50 Cent took to his Instagram to attack his ex in a currently deleted post. He referenced the alleged relationship between Diddy and Daphne Joy and wrote (via Page Six),
“You moved a mile away in hopes of having another baby with me but I was busy. So you moved back and then you started receiving money from Brother Love. Now here we are, little s*x worker.”
Daphne Joy denied Lil Rod’s allegations in an Instagram post (currently deleted) and shared that she “was hurt by the lies” in the producer’s lawsuit. She added (via People),
“The claim that I am a s*x worker is 100% false and character assassination. I am retaining an attorney to explore all legal remedies against both Rodney and his attorney.”
Per People, she called out 50 Cent in a separate Instagram post and said,
“Everything is a joke to you until our safety is compromised, which is happening now. You are wreaking real havoc, frenzy, and chaos onto people's lives. How would u feel if Sire was the one in handcuffs? For nothing.”
She claimed that 50 Cent was an absentee father while also accusing him of r*ping and physically abusing her. She wrote (per Us Weekly),
“Let’s put the real focus on your true evil actions of raping me and physically abusing me. You are no longer my oppressor and my God will handle you from this point on. You have permanently damaged the last hope I had for you as a father to preserve our family with these last and final false claims made against me. You have broken our hearts for the last and final time.”
According to Us Weekly, 50 Cent had filed for sole custody of his son amidst allegations against Joy. He told the outlet in March 2024,
“The disturbing allegations in the sworn pleadings recently filed in a court case related to Daphne Joy, the mother of my 12-year-old child, has required me to take all necessary legal actions to protect my son Sire.”
He further called the allegations from Joy “false and baseless,” claiming that they were in response to him seeking Sire’s sole custody. The rapper asserted that his son was his “sole priority,” and he wanted to keep him in a “safe environment.”
Due to their history, the speculations around 50 Cent’s ex, Jane Doe, in the Diddy trial escalated. According to @innercitypress, the mystery witness identified herself as a model who hailed from California. She claimed to have dated Diddy between 2021 and 2024 and also testified that her “child's father didn't get along with Sean.”
