Canadian professional wrestler Chelsea Green won the United States Championship on November 7. According to a report by The Takedown, this now makes her the two-time Women’s US champion and this time, she defeated Japanese wrestler Guila.

As seen in the videos from the match, at one point, Guila’s representative Kiana James interfered. However, Green’s “slaygent,” Alba Fyre did not withhold from attacking James. On X, WWE posted a video of the final moments, which Green reshared and wrote:

“I TOLD YOU I WOULD!!!!!”

According to the official website of WWE, Green has a signature question, which is “Do you know who I am?” In 2023, she came back to WWE in the Royal Rumble Match.

In April 2025, the Canadian wrestler sat down for an interview with Click and Tell’s Sangita Patel and Carlos Bustamante. Discussing her journey, she said that what attracted her to wrestling was the look of people. Chelsea Green said she cared about what they brought to the table in the persona and appearance they created. According to her:

“There was a couple people that I really fell in love with the way that they were doing it. And so I was like okay I know that I want to always have something the same. In terms of when I come to the ring I always have a one sleeve top on, I wear lowrise shorts, I always have thigh high boots on, and I have some form of hand Gauntlet.”

Green also said that in 2024, she could see a lot of her signature hats being worn by the crowd. She mentioned that accessories like these were available on Amazon.

Chelsea Green discusses the top venues where wrestlers like to get in a match

The Canadian wrestler jokingly said that she loved wrestling for every other reason. Besides that, she said she liked being in character, acting and public speaking, among others. She said all these aspects came before her getting into the ring. Speaking of that, Chelsea Green said:

“And truly there are some people that have made their career off of that and then there is me that has done everything other than wrestling and somehow 10 years later I'm still here.”

Elsewhere during the conversation, Chelsea Green said that there are a few venues around the world where wrestlers like to perform. She said the first one was in Japan and especially the Tokyo Dome and the Korakuen Hall, speaking of which she said:

“There's just so much history, so much life to it. There's so many people who have stepped into the ring in Korakuen Hall and gone on to do really really amazing things.”

Chelsea Green said that many people believed in her even when she didn’t fully believe in herself. She explained that she saw those moments as chances to either fail or prove herself. So, during the first five years of her career, she acted confident even when she wasn’t and said she really believed in the idea of “pretending until you succeed.”
