When did Jimmy Fallon date Nicole Kidman? SNL alum makes embarrassing confession about bad date

As per a recent article by US Weekly, popular television show host Jimmy Fallon revealed that he had ruined a date with Nicole Kidman by playing Mario Kart.

During an episode of his late night show on May 20, the talk show host was reminded of the time when he fumbled upon a date with the actress around 2005.

During an interview with The Last of Us' Isabela Merced, Fallon called The Last of Us 'one of the scariest video games ever!' Merced chuckled and asked if this was the game that he had played during his date with Nicole Kidman.

Fallon joked and said, “It’s a pleasure meeting you. We’re out of time.”

"Thanks for bringing it up," Fallon said and then corrected Merced and told her that he was playing Mario Kart during his date.

In the year 2015, actress Nicole Kidman appeared on the Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon where she brought up their previous meeting.

Kidman said that a mutual friend told her that Fallon liked her and she went to Fallon's apartment to meet him but was embarrassed in the end.

“I liked you, so our mutual friend says Jimmy wants to meet you, go over to his apartment. I was single, so sure,” Kidman said on the show.

Kidman said that Fallon wouldn't talk and was busy playing a video game.

“I go over, you’re in a baseball cap, you wouldn’t talk. Then you put a video game on, and it was so bad. About an hour and a half, I figured you had no interest and left. It was so embarrassing,” said Kidman

Perplexed by the revelation, Fallon was shocked and said that he had assumed that Kidman came over for a chemistry test for a role in Kidman's 2005 movie Bewitched, which eventually went to Will Ferell.

Fallon still refers to the incident as 'the most embarrassing thing ever' and the clip from the episode on Youtube where Kidman reveals the same has more than 63 million views.

A new Mario Kart game is scheduled for release along with the release of Nintendo Switch 2. The new Mario game is called Mario Kart World which introduces Free Roam to the popular franchise. This means it will allow players to explore different levels and parts of the world by driving – a feature that has been created by Nintendo so players can enjoy the game without having to worry about racing.

While exploring Mario Kart World, players will get a chance to visit Yoshi's diner and eat a drive-thru menu. This will unlock a new themed outfit and other secrets to be discovered.
