Jordon Hudson, the partner of Bill Belichick, was seemingly upset with how the hosts of The Sports Gossip Show podcast covered her Miss Maine pageant in one of their episodes. On August 8, hosts Charlotte Wilder and Madeline Hill posted a new episode, where they discussed how a recent conversation with Hudson turned out.

Charlotte said Hudson called her a few days ago to talk about the podcast’s Miss Maine pageant episode, which came out on May 12. Hudson participated in the pageant this year, which took place on May 10 and 11. According to People Magazine, she came third in the competition.

Reflecting on the conversation with Jordon Hudson, Charlotte said:

“I couldn't tell what the tone was. She would oscillate between like friendly, but there was clearly like an edge to her voice where she kind of wanted to let me have it. She wanted to talk about our Miss Maine episode. She wanted to talk about our opinions around the pageant.”

Charlotte explained that Jordon Hudson had asked why they said her taking part in the Miss Maine Pageant would take away chances and resources from someone who might need them more. Jordon also wanted to know why they felt it seemed like she and Bill were against everyone else.

She further questioned why the podcast hosts didn’t mention earlier that the pageant winner, Shelby, was not from Maine. Charlotte said they did report it in the next episode after she found out Shelby was from San Diego.

What did Jordon Hudson tell the podcast hosts during the calls?

Charlotte told Hudson that if they had gotten any facts wrong, she should let them know so they could fix it. She felt the conversation was going in circles and not helping. She told Jordon Hudson that she would like to get Madeline on the phone because she didn’t feel comfortable answering certain questions without Madeline there.

Eventually, she told Hudson she had to leave the call but would set up a group text with Madeline so they could plan a time to talk that week. Hudson agreed and added that Madeline would be surprised to hear she had called.

Charlotte said that during the call, Jordon Hudson mentioned that it seemed like they were covering the story in a more personal way than others. Hudson told her they were closer to the truth than anyone else, and yet, they were far from it.

The hosts had a video call session with Hudson, which Madeline said wasn’t of great help about Hudson’s concerns. She recalled suggesting to Hudson:

“Come on the show. You want to correct the record about Miss Maine Pageant and who knows what else. Like, come on the show. Correct the record. Let's talk about this.”

Following a hiatus, Charlotte got in a call with Jordon Hudson during which Hudson cried and was upset about what they said in the Miss Maine episode. During the 13-minute conversation, Charlotte said Hudson was almost yelling at her.

Charlotte said that Jordon no longer seemed to trust them and would likely trust them even less once the new information came out. She also felt they couldn’t trust Jordon to tell the truth about herself and wondered if her actions showed a repeated pattern in how she handled situations.
