Addressing Daniel Williams’ death, she posted an Instagram post in which she called him her biggest supporter and soulmate.

My entire world is in shambles. The hole you’ve left in all of our lives and hearts can not be measured... I can’t wrap my head around never getting to see you or touch you again. My heart has never felt this level of pain and I truly don’t know how to carry on without you. She wrote in the caption.

She further talked about his legacy and his support for her career and other endeavors. She termed their relationship as "once in a lifetime."

"One thing is beyond clear - How loved you are and how much you loved others, showed up and gave so much to everyone in your life." She wrote.

Daniel Williams was a significant contributor to The Devil Wears Prada's ascent in the late 2000s. According to Financial Express, his drumming played a crucial role in the band's success on both With Roots Above and Branches Below (2009) and Zombie EP (2010), the latter reaching number one on the Billboard Top Hard Rock Albums.

In 2016, Williams left the group and reinvented himself as a tech entrepreneur. He was a senior software architect at GoPro for almost eight years before he recently announced he was leaving to take a job at Apple as a software engineer.
