According to USA Today, American singer Dua Lipa confirmed her engagement with her boyfriend (now fiancé) Callum Turner in an interview with British Vogue, published on June 12, 2025.

Before meeting her fiancé, Callum Turner, Dua Lipa dated French film director Romain Gavras. The duo hard-launched their relationship at the 2023 Cannes Film Festival, but broke up later in December of the same year.

According to reports, an inside source shared with The Sun that Dua and Gavras split before "things turned sour", as Dua reportedly prioritized her career and Gavras reportedly considered Dua a workaholic.

Now, coming to her engagement, according to US Weekly, while talking with British Vogue, the Levitating singer shared that,

"Yeah, we're engaged...It's very exciting."

She further added that she is obsessed with the ring and shared that Callum had the ring made for her after consultation with her friends and her sister.

Dua Lipa is a 29-year-old Grammy-winning English and Albanian singer with notable songs like New Rules, Levitating, Don't Start Now, etc. Her fiancé, Callum Turner, is a 35-year-old British actor who has appeared in movies like Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them, Assassin's Creed(2016), etc.

Romain Gavras is a 43-year-old French director and filmmaker. He is from a family that is involved in the entertainment industry, with his father, Costa Gavras, being an Oscar-winning director. Gavras previously dated Rita Ora before meeting Dua Lipa, and is currently not known to be dating anyone. According to Business Insider, Gavras has a teenage daughter.

According to Cosmopolitan, the rumors linking Dua Lipa with Gavras, a French filmmaker who had a passion for films since his childhood, began in February 2023. The Sun, at the time, reported that a source disclosed that Dua and Gavras had been getting to know each other for several months. Later, per Cosmopolitan, the two were spotted holding hands leaving a Saint Laurent Paris Fashion Week show.

The former couple didn't wait any further to make their relationship public, and made their red carpet debut as a couple at the Cannes Film Festival on 20th May 2023. Later, the two were seen celebrating birthdays, vacationing together, etc.
