Javier Claxton leads a somewhat private life away from the spotlight. According to People Magazine, he was born in 2005 and shared a close bond with his stepmother, Anne Burrell. In 2020, Anne, Stuart, and Javier Claxton quarantined together at her childhood home in Cazenovia, New York. It was during this time that Stuart Claxton proposed to her. In an interview with People Magazine, Stuart Claxton revealed what it meant to have both sides of the family present for this special moment. He said:

"I got the ring right before we left for Cazenovia [over a month and a half ago], when we didn't really know how long things were going to go on. But I'm very glad I did it."

He further added:

"I think some silver linings come out of this whole situation. If it wasn't happening, we wouldn't be up here with my family, and they would not have been involved in the way that they were."

According to US Magazine, Javier Claxton was the person behind the camera who helped Anne Burrell film her cooking videos during the pandemic in 2020. She posted a sweet moment of him assisting her, along with the caption:

"Getting a little work done in my Mom’s house!!! My camera man @javier.claxton is the 15 year old son of my fiancé!!! It’s a family affair around here!! #luckygirl #ilovewhatido #shelteringwithmyfamily."

In a 2024 interview with Broken Plate, Anne Burrell talked about spending time with Javier Claxton, during his summer break while he was home from college, proudly sharing that he was working at a summer job making chicken parm. She said:

“I love to go to Mets games. Baseball always feels historical to me and I truly love history. I love to watch a few innings and then stop and get a chicken parm. And it’s a family affair. My stepson is home from college for the summer and he’s working at the stand. He’s slinging chicken parm and he’s having a great time doing it. He’s meeting cool people and making a few dollars.”

The mother-son duo often attended various sporting events together, along with Stuart Claxton. In 2024, they were seen attending the ICC Men's T20 World Cup match between South Africa and Bangladesh.
