Griffin was married to Matt Moline for five years before their 2006 divorce, before she competed on Celebrity Weakest Link and tried her hand at love. She was briefly associated with Steve Wozniak, a co-founder of Apple, but the two split up in 2008. After five years of marriage, Griffin and Randy Bick announced it quits. They were married in 2020.
As per a recent article by US Weekly, actress and comedian Kathy Griffin recently expressed her desire to join The Golden Bachelorette, a dating reality television show.
This happened on October 6, 2025, during an episode of Fox's Celebrity Weakest Link, when the host of the show, Jane Lynch, asked Griffin about her dream she has for her personal life.
“I am 64, single and sexy,” Griffin told Lynch, 65. “So I would like to be the next Golden Bachelorette.
Joan Vassos starred as the first Golden Bachelorette in 2024, and Gerry Turner debuted the senior franchise with ABC in 2023. The Golden Bachelor's second season, starring Mel Owens, is presently airing.
Meanwhile, Lynch gave a suggestion to Kathy Griffin that she look for dating options on Fox instead of ABC.
“Fox has a show called Farmer Wants a Wife and I could probably talk to people here if you are interested in being on a farm for your golden years.” Lynch said on the show.
Eight celebrities will compete for a chance to win up to $1 million for their preferred charity in this episode. Following their collective bank money after completing general knowledge questions, the competitors vote out the person they believe to be the weakest link at the conclusion of each round.
Two contestants will be left standing at the conclusion, and they will decide who will receive the funds for their selected charity. Cedric the Entertainer, Margaret Cho, Lil Rel Howery, Lisa Lampanelli, Natasha Leggero, Chris Redd, and Iliza Schlesinger are all featured in the Roastmasters episode alongside Griffin.
Previous relationships of Kathy Griffin
Kathy Griffin was married to Randy Bick from January 2020 to December 2023. The two decided to part ways after being married for four years. Only a little more than a year after she first filed for divorce, Griffin was unable to complete her separation from Bick until January 2025.
Before being married on New Year's Day in 2020, Griffin and Bick dated for a number of years after initially meeting in 2011. Throughout their four years of marriage, Kathy Griffin frequently shared pictures of herself and Bick on social media. In 2021, the marketing executive was also present when Griffin was diagnosed with lung cancer.
Kathy Griffin was briefly linked to Steve Wozniak in the years 2007-2008. The two were spotted together on Griffin's show, My Life on the D-List, and at events such as the 2007 Emmy Awards. Their relationship ended peacefully in early 2008, and Griffin later characterized it as friendly rather than romantic.
Before being associated with Steve Wozniak, Kathy Griffin was married to Matt Moline, a software entrepreneur, for nearly five years. She met Moline through her sister, Rebecca Moline, a film producer.
Her reality show, My Life on the D-List, which ran from 2005 to 2010, featured a portion of their relationship. But in September 2005, Griffin decided to call it quits. Although this was unexpected, given that Moline had declared his love for Griffin on the show, she accused him of stealing money and decided to end things.
